We loved our stay at Sea Drift. The B&B is in a great location, right on the Loch and close to the bridge to Skye. If you are happy with a small B&B where you almost part of the family this one is perfect. David and Lisa are lovely and very generous with their time advising on places to dine and to visit. Also road conditions on Skye which was super helpful. Everything in the B&B we found to our liking, comfy bed, great shower, lovely china, nice towels and the breakfast was the best. Also delicious chocolate brownie on arrival. We would highly recommend. Nicki

Probably the best accommodation in the Highlands with the friendliest and most accommodating hosts anywhere. The rooms are nicely furnished and lack nothing. There is a great view of nature with deer and many different birds. The breakfast is super good with great selection and lots of fresh homemade goodies.

Absolutely perfect - David & Lisa's warm welcome immediately made us feel at home. Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Their breakfasts are superb with lots of variety and with good, freshly brewed coffee, honey from their own bees, fresh eggs from their hens . . . delicious. Their local knowledge was very helpful. On our last morning, Lisa spotted a group of herons (ok I've just looked this up, it's called a siege of herons!) - yes, they've even provided binoculars in the dining room to watch the wildlife. David recommended a route for driving home that was absolutely spectacular. David and Lisa obviously love their work very much and do everything they can to make your stay totally relaxing, refreshing. Very highly recommended!

Best B&B for everything. Location set on the loch side is such a peaceful setting. Bedroom and en-suite? Well 3 things I hope for when travelling, comfy bed, comfy pillows and a good shower. Seadrift doesn't disappoint. Anything you could want for breakfast is on offer. They do the best porridge and the eggs from their hens are cooked to perfection. The hosts are so friendly and helpful about local knowledge.

We stayed here for three nights to visit the Isle of Skye and had a wonderful time. Due to an unfortunate road block on our way there we only managed to arrive after midnight, but David was very kind to stay up for us and even provided us with a small meal when we didn’t find the time for it on our way there. The place itself was very clean, luxurious, and the surroundings were absolutely stunning (and great for bird spotting and stargazing!). Breakfast consisted of a mix of fresh, local, and home made ingredients as well as lots of fruits and custom cooked meals including delicious eggs, which we already miss! On top of that, every morning David assisted us in our planning for the day of what to visit and where to eat, which was very helpful and allowed us to conveniently visit the most beautiful places on the Isle of Skye by car. He was very friendly and showed interest in us and our trip. We also enjoyed playing the piano that was present in the B&B. It was very clear that David and Lisa put a lot of love into their B&B, with attention to details, and like to make their guests feel special and at home. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again in the future!…

Our stay at Seadrift was truly the highlight of our time in Scotland. After driving across the country, we were weary travelers. As we arrived at Seadrift, we exhaled as were greeted by the lovely David and Lisa, along with their loyal dog, Griff, who we all adored. Their place is right on the loch where you can watch the tides move in and out from your room, enjoy a cuppa tea along the water, take in the hills around you, and feel connected to the natural beauty of Scottish Highlands. A very short drive to Skye and situated between Kyle and Dornie, Seadrift offers comfortable beds, amazing views, and the absolute best breakfast including eggs from their own hens, honey from their own hives, and porridge made with milk and love, along with loads of other delicious items made to order. David and Lisa made us feel so at home, offering recommendations for routes and restaurants, while also giving us space. The best hosts, not just in Scotland, but in all of our travels. …

So lovely to have you stay with us - from your joyful smiles to the piano concerts! Griff enjoyed the entertainment and the walks too. It was lovely to see you arrive slightly stressed and watch you all just unwind. You “got” the Seadrift vibe ….

We rarely leave reviews on Tripadvisor, but this one is necessary! Lisa and David absolutely do their best for the well-being of their guests. Freshly cooked breakfast, great tips for day trips, absolute tranquility and proximity to the wonderful nature of Scotland are some of the highlights. Definitely more than just a B&B, this is a home. Animal lovers get their money's worth twice ;)

This was such a special place to stay! Lisa and David are the most accommodating and kind hosts. The location is right by the Eilean Donan castle and within driving distance of the Isle of Skye. The breakfast Lisa and David serve is to die for, especially the honey from their bees. I always overate in the best way :). We will be back!
