A beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. We stayed in room 101, a superior room with a sea view. This was well equipped and extremely spacious. Our evening meal was lovely, the restaurant staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was delicious, a choice of continental, cooked buffet and an order from the menu. The leisure staff managed to find a time slot for my son to have a swim as I hadn’t realised that I’d needed to book this (hotel booking was last minute) which we were really grateful for. We will definitely be returning.

Trenython Manor is a beautiful Italian architecture building, conveniently located between Fowey and Par. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. Gardens well maintained with good views across Carlyon Bay. Varied breakfast options all well prepared and enjoyable.

Dear jcowel748924, Thank you for your valuable feedback, we have all noted our very positive interactions with you both during your stay, which leaves us extremely surprised and disappointed to receive your review in this manner. There was absolutely no indication of stress and disappointment while you were staying with us, had we been made aware of any such issues we would have endeavoured to rectify them promptly without question. We are unfortunately unable to act on and remedy something that's not brought to our attention during your stay and in our industry this is possibly one of the things that frustrates us the most! Most hotels will experience a significantly higher occupancy during half term time incorporating larger numbers of children. We have maintained our leisure facility booking system to prevent the area becoming over populated at any one time, however, larger numbers will of course result in an increased demand for use. We wish you all the very best on your future travels and would recommend booking outside of school term times, if your flexibility allows, to ensure that you have the best chance of enjoying hotel facilities more readily and unhindered. Kind regards, Anthony

It was lovely staying. Area very beautiful, you can relax, walk to the beach and do some hiking, very good food in the middle of hiking on Polkerris village (Sam’s on the beach). Pool was good and all staff. We couldn’t explore spa because everything was booked for that day, but that’s fine. For getaway for 2 nights it’s perfect

8 family members on holiday. Convenient for us to walk to from lodge. 1 the of 7 already seated and a table of 2. Dinner arrived, 2 were on cold plates and the mash puree was cold due to being put on cold plates. 3 burgers ordered and one vegetarian burger. The waiting staff didn't know which one was the vegetarian one. Not acceptable. Waitress asked if food was OK, we told her 2 weren't. The manager did say he would have the two on cold plates done again but that would have meant 2 of us eating after everyone else sovee declined. Manager was trying to sort but it was intrusive and we sorted after the meal. He took two meals off of the bill and offered us complimentary tea and coffee which we declined. He kindly gave us a bottle of fizz to take away. All very nice but overall not goid for the amount of people dining.

What a great place this is! Decided last minute to take a night away with friends and we were not disappointed. Booked into a sea view lodge which was absolutely spotless. The lodge was a really good size and would very easily accommodate 6 people. Everything you needed was on hand. Bathrooms were immaculate and we have never had such instant hot water. We took advantage of using the swimming pool and spa facilities which again was lovely and the member of staff that greeted us was really welcoming and enthusiastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Our deal included breakfast which again was great and included continental and a delicious cooked breakfast. Couldn’t fault it. We had a really relaxing time and will certainly be returning - very good value for money, great facilities, friendly staff, beautiful hotel what more do you want??

Took advantage of the swim/lunch promo. I go here regulary for sauna/swim but first tine trying the food. partners burger was good but my steak was a bit overcooked and a tad chewy, i understand some steaks are bad but the manager (Blonde, glasses, lovely woman) decided to subtract some of the bill which i thought was very decent of the hotel. A+ Will recomended

Booked a single night as had visited the Eden project through the day. Was extremely pleased we did. The hotel is a few miles out of Fowey (about 20 mins from Eden project). Lovely building with impressive reception, friendly staff and we were given a lower ground floor room that was obviously for disabled visitors as it had a wet room. Bedroom and shower room were very clean and spacious, coffee, tea etc, dressing gowns and slippers too were provided. We used the leisure facilities (had to be booked but free) which were of a good standard with pool (very shallow at one end), sauna, jacuzzi, steam room. Restaurant. Had a meal in the Kona restaurant. Main course, lovely and good value, but I thought the starters wernt the same quality/value. Breakfast was superb. Good selection of hot and cold and Full Cornish cooked to order. Staff, some very young were all polite and friendly Would highly recommend and will certainly re-visit if in the area
