Visited for Mother’s Day lunch. The food was awful. Roast Lamb was burnt, Yorkshire pudding was burnt. Food was cold and the whole dish was covered in gravy with mustard, which was not on the menu and made the food taste worse.

Visited in March because our daughter had just had a baby. The landlord, Simon, was very friendly. There are 4 rooms. Ours was very comfortable. No wardrobe, just a clothes rail, but for 2 nights that was not a problem.

We had a really great Sunday roast , sadly our food got delivered to another table so we had a rather long wait but you can not fault the food or the very nice staff. Will definitely be back . Thanks.
