We had been told that since the pub had changed hands, it was really nice. We went for a meal last night, our table was booked for 7.30, the waiter said that the chef was on his own and running late. That's fine but nearly an hour later, we had to ask for a drink and some bread to keep...

We went to the Perch & Pike to celebrate my friends 70th birthday. What a great choice we made, the staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Superb service. Lovely sandwich with fries and lovely big salad and coleslaw. Really tasty. Popped in on way past when walking the dog. Will be back. If the roast is anything like the roast beef we had in our sandwiches. Will be booking to come for a full blown roast very soon! Amazing!

We had a meal there with friends. Inside was almost empty but the outside seating was much busier being a warm evening. Food is simple and the choice is a bit limited but on the whole well cooked. I'm not sure it is somewhere I would use for a very special occasion but what we all had we really enjoyed...

We spend one night at this lovely small B&B. The is only 4 bed rooms and we were in a twin bed room which was clean and wonderfully appointed! There was a large bath with shower and with really nice soaps. The landlord was helpful by organising taxis for us as we were meeting friends. The breakfast was a really...
