We stayed at Stream House for 2 wonderful nights. Amazing hosts, stunning house, wonderful breakfast! We had the Poppy room and the bed was huge and so comfortable. Such a relaxing escape from London. Probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Thank you very much, The Lauren's :)
we stayed for 2 Nights and what an Amazing place, Sandra and Steve were the perfect hosts. nothing was too much Trouble, the rooms are spotless and the bed was so Comfortable. its in a lovely quiet location the Breakfast was Superb, the best B&B we have ever stayed in without a doubt.
Lovely bedroom with en suite bathroom, both looking out on to the stream that flows through the idyllic garden (read "park") in a quiet village not far from the coast with wonderful English breakfasts each day - what's not to like? We are really pleased that we booked a room in Steve and Sandra's home for a week. We explored the towns and attractions around the area, fossil hunting at Pett Level, taking tea at Pashley Manor Gardens, imagining the fighting at Battle Abbey, walking all over Hastings. It is a lovely area with so much to see and do. A full breakfast meant that we did not have to worry much about lunch, but Steve and Sandra also provided some recommendations for local restaurants which were also gratefully experienced.
My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the beautiful Poppy Room with amazing views. The room had masses of storage and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was massive. Having a very comfy guest lounge to relax in was great. Excellent breakfast served in the lovely dining room. Wonderful grounds to sit and relax in if the weather is good. Good parking. Very COVID safe
What an outstanding B&B in a private home run by Sandra & Steve. The rooms were spotless and 'Poppy room' with large en-suite bathroom was luxurious, very comfortable kings size bed, with lovely views over a beautiful garden. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the hosts. Definitely recommend this property. Three B&B rooms and fantastic breakfast/relaxing room overlooking the small stream. Les & Heather Surrey.
where to start a stunning property in stunning grounds run buy fabulously friendly couple Sandra and Steve, stylish rooms clean and all the little treats including robes specialty teas they make you feel so so welcome. we visited because we had a Christmas present for a vineyard tour we booked late notice but this was not a problem for them they ensured our stay was what we needed. This is a perfect retreat for complete relaxation i would without doubt recommend this exquisite B&B.
Stayed for two nights in this quality B&B set in lovely grounds near Rye. Room was spotless with lovely en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was served in lounge and the fresh fruit & yogurts as well as full english options were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts.
We stayed here for three nights for a local wedding - the location was very convenient - and we could not have been happier. Our room, one of three, was beautiful with, in particular, a fantastic spacious bathroom with a shower and roll top bath. The house sits in a large and beautiful garden. We enjoyed sitting in it whilst waiting for our lift to the wedding, Sandra was kind enough to bring us tea and biscuits whilst we sat by the fish-pond. Breakfast was delicious, with locally sourced ingredients. The sausages were particularly good. (I meant to buy some from the supplier on the way back to London but forgot.) Sandra and Steve were excellent hosts, with great attention to detail. We loved the tea and cake on arrival and the bathrobes and slippers. There isn't much to do in Fairlight itself, but the next village has two good pubs for evening meals. the beach (Pett Level) is in easy walking distance and this is a great location from which to see the surrounding area. We would recommend a trip to Rye in particular.…
I stayed at Stream House for a weekend with some friends. I was blown away by the beautiful house and grounds, nestled in an excellent walking area. The hosts Sandra and Steve were extremely generous during our stay, and cooked us delicious breakfasts with locally grown ingredients. They recommended a great local vineyard where we had an excellent tour and tried the english sparkling wines. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
