Located in a beautiful spot, the dive centre is impressive. keen and enthusiastic staff and well maintained and crewed boats. We were welcomed with a comprehensive and friendly brief that got us keen to get in the water, The diving was excellent, the sites are clean and full of life. We were experienced divers and we treated accordingly (ie not...

I did my divemaster training on Pulau Weh at Lumba Lumba, and that was the best choice I made my entire trip. Driving up to the beach for the first time was like a fairytale, crystal clear water and beautiful white sand. Arriving in the shop, I was greeted by the lovely Tari, who works at the desk, she showed...

I didn't arrange this trip, a friend of mine did all of the research and then had to cancel unexpectedly, so I ended up going on my own. Every thing was organized well, I was met at the airport by a very charming man, Mr Firdaus, who got me to the ferry on Dec 26th and the ferry departed for...

We are a couple living since 8 years on Sumatra. The dive site is very enjoyable and it's well organized. The rooms very clean and comfortable. I can totally recommend it. Everything is great besides one thing: The local girl which is responsible for payments. You will recognize her right away. She is smilie, friendly and always good for a...

The dive shop is nice, the rooms are clean and comfy, but I really feel like each time I pay to go diving I'm paying for damage to be done to the dive sites and the environment. The boatmen and captain and dive guides throw their cigarette butts into the ocean. The guides pay no mind to coral and kick...

Recently completed an open water dive course with instructor Ingrid, who was a great teacher and very patient. The whole company is well run and the dive sites are fantastic- lots of marine life and beautiful corals. We didn't stay here as we already had accommodation booked elsewhere. This wasn't an issue as we were offered a free pickup and...

Me and my Girlfriend both did our open water courses here and our instructor was fantastic. She was very patient, thorough and had over 20 years of instructing experience to call upon. The dive centre is nice, friendly staff and always someone kicking around to help. The only draw back that stood out was the equipment. A lot of it...

My bf and I recently visited P. Weh for the for first time and went diving with Lumba Lumba. After 12 days it was hard to leave especially... before Christmas. When you visit with Lumba Lumba the staff welcome you in like family, and you leave with some new friends made. If you stay anywhere/dive on the island I highly...

I visited Lumba Lumba for a week, housed in a simple but elegant bungalow with nice bed, hot shower and shaded veranda with hammock for after-dive relaxation. The diving is superb, even while it was raining daily, visibility was usually very good, probably due to the at times significant current. The staff is very knowledgable about the dive sites, the...

The place is really nicely made and the rooms are relatively cheap (especially with the discount for divers). WiFi is not working very well (especially in the lodges, we had no internet access, although the wifi network itself worked). Directly at the diving center, it usually worked). Staff is uncomplicated, very nice and helpful.
