Amazing buffet breakfast with so many delicious choices - banana pancakes, yogurt with muesli, housemade chocolate sauce, fabulous bread they toast, avocado with cucumbers and tomatoes, fresh fruit in season. Very enjoyable. Plus there's a sweet, small coral reef for snorkeling right in front of an outdoor shower.

There are grander, and certainly more ostentatious places to stay in Bali, but few are as genuinely enchanting, secluded and environmentally sensitive as this gorgeous retreat snuggled into an organic farming community on a mountain side looking across to the Indian Ocean in Northern Bali. From the dining room you can see the lights of fishing boats at night, and...

Partner and I visited for a weekend. Accommodation was great as were the spa facilities, pool and yoga Unfortunately we felt the food was a real let down. It was never hot and choices were poor. Far too much pumpkin and not enough variety of anything. The chips offered were undercooked and the fish in the batter was just a...

The staff have genuine care and engagement with Gaia because it is there business and what happens there affects them and there community. This made our time here...

I stayed in both the mountain resort and beach resort in May. Both were fabulous but a little bit different. The Mountain resort is perfect for some quiet time. The two storey bungalow that I stayed in was a reasonable distance from the pool, restaurant area and other bungalows at the mountain resort and made it feel like I was...

The beauty, cleanliness and details of the spacious apartment made me feel very comfortable. The ocean view and access was another perk. Also, the food choices were to my liking. And having the opportunity to practice yoga was very helpful to adjust to the climate.
