This is so relaxing and quiet. Excellent staff and #vegan #vegetarian food, grown locally. Perfect place to switch off and recuperate. Crashing waves to lull you to sleep. Fresh air and jungle. And open air bathroom.

Gorgeous boutique resort right on the ocean a world away from the crowded touristy hustle of other areas in Bali. Lovely traditional style 2 storey bungalows with all mod cons except air-con which, due to lovely sea breezes, we didn't need.. Absolutely delicious mostly

We loved spending some days here when staying at the equally lovely sister-hotel 15 mins up the mountain. We had a fabulously relaxing massage with only the sounds of the nearby ocean. We ate tasty and varied vegetarian food and chatted to wonderful staff. It was beautiful and

Dear Alina (it is Alina, yes? No name was mentioned), So sorry about the delay, I lost the link & couldn't answer. Yes, we are all good here. Our focus has been on the refugees; Gaia is in a Safe Evacuation Zone housing 17.000 refugees and we have been helping where we can, in the Tejakula Evacuation Centre. Do have a look at our website, under Gaia Foundation - Mt Agung Appeal; we have also uploaded pictures there. People are strong although families are splitting up, & everyone is sharing. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts, & I will pass the message on to our staff. Blessings & hugs, Yen

Dear Emily, thanks for wanting to book at Gaia beach. Yes,the beach is licensed for beer and wine, but not for hard liquor or cocktails. Our mountain retreat offers beer only. The nearest place which serves cocktails or spirits is Teluk Karang dive resort,15-20 mins drive away. Hope this helps, Yen

Dear Domenic, Our resort is located 3 hours from the airport. We can arrange airport transfer via the local Tejakula Village transport cooperative. They charge Rp 760.000 per car, one way, for maximum 4 people with light luggage. Cars are air-conditioned, fully licensed and drivers speak basic English. The drive goes past the Kintamani Hills, a 2 hour stopover can be arranged & is included in the price. Please pay cash directly to the driver. For restaurants, there are about 6 'western/ international' restaurants within a 20 minute drive of the resort, and lots of local warungs. Gaia has its own in-house restaurants which are quite well-regarded. Do let us know if you have further queries, and enjoy your visit to Tejakula :)
