Booked a stay here because their sister property on the main drag was booked. Loved it! Has to many extras to list! The staff was more than courteous. There are nightly activities. We took advantage of the bbq out on the lawn. Our room had a kitchen. Just a real neat place to

Fantastic Lake Tahoe resort! Staff was friendly and helpful. Liked having the books in the main office and the huge selection of movies to check out (for free)! Didn't use the swimming pool but the children at the resort seemed to enjoy it a lot!

Stayed here for a 7-day period in March '19 for a ski vacation through a Raintree Vacation Club alliance. The room was a studio, which was perfect for me and my wife. The kitchenette was quite small but well stocked and had a full sized refrigerator. The room was comfortable and

My friends and I had such a great time staying at this resort - beautiful room with the best amenities, and free popcorn! Short walk to Heavenly and the casinos. Will totally come back. Thanks for the memories!

AFVC is still a great service and value. The staff and amenities of the Americana live and breathe hospitality. Desk clerk Kathy exemplifies hospitality management. So many unexpected extras available. Rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and well appointed.

Are there outdoor BBQs to cook on there?
I agree, grills and a sitting / picnic area at the end. Enjoy!

Is the hotel in a walking distance from the lake, a place where you can swim?
I would not walk it. A true hiking enthusiast would. It is uphill on the way back

Sorry. Just saw this now. They are around $200-300 a night I think. Can't remember.

They have two bedroom units - you need to call the Americana directly to see what is available. They have a nice activity room for crafts, tv, etc. Have fun!

"upgraded, remodeled room with kitchenette away from bathroom would be suggested."
"For a quieter room suggest: 2nd floor (thin ceilings), back corner of property/situated on a somewhat busy street."
"Lower rooms are of course more convenient as vehicle parking is very close and in front of the rooms, but all are quiet and comfortable"
"We've stayed everywhere in this hotel. With a toddler, we like the ground floor so he can jump around and not bother anyone."
"For light sleepers, try to get room in the back away from the street"
