I came here by myself with no expectations. As a matter of fact, I arrived sick and needed a place to recuperate for a few days. My apartment was way beyond my expectations. I thought I had booked a hotel room. This is so much more. Filled with antiques ,it also has a TV and hot plate and refrigerator. There... More

The apartments are cosy and well furnished....Scheggino is a very nice location...it is close to many interesting places to visit in Umbria. The owners of La Logia sul Nera are friendly and at the same time professional. I kindly recommend La Loggia sul Nera in Scheggino for a relaxing and beautiful holiday! :)

Stayed In the Gambero Rosso apartment, which is even nicer then it appears on the photos. It is very comfortable and has everything we needed. It is a good size, and has a lovely balcony, overlooking the rooftops and church, with views in every direction to tree-covered mountains. The village is very convenient, just a 2 minute walk down the... More

I stayed with my family and we had a great holiday. We arrived very late at night and the owner was really kind to be there and welcome us and show us around the apartment, which was really nice and typical. The palace is in a stunning position. The view is amazing, the accomodation absolutely perfect also if you have... More

We staid 2 nights and we had to move out because the room were cold and our baby 6 months old wasn't well. The rooms are nice although a bit dark, but this is one of the prices for staying in a historic mansion. Bathroom was not very well equipped and also cold although the heating was basically on all... We had just a lovely stay in Arrone in La Loggia Sul Nera. The apartment is one of a number in the same building but ours (with a garden) was perfectly private and very roomy. It overlooks the lovely little Italian town of Arrone and is only 50 metres from the castle on top of the hill. The apartment was... More

This apartment is, in a word, perfect. It is set in an old castle in the small hilltown of Arrone, Umbria which in itself was a dream to stay in. We came here for one week of our honeymoon and it was the best week of the whole trip. The apartment is a short walk uphill but worth it. We... More

We were fortunate enough to stay in this gorgeous accommodation with breathtaking views over the small local town of Arrone, set amongst the hills with beautiful views down the valley. The accommodation was clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need and both downstairs apartments have access to the terrace which really is wonderful to fully appreciate the... I stayed in the Gambero Rossi, one of the apts at La loggia. Clean, nice-looking, well furnished and stocked. Plus magnificent views of the town below and the mountains in the distance. Having the balcony made a big difference. A real pleasure. Everything worked well, and if I needed an extra lamp or even a rocking chair, or any other... More

“Gambero Rosso was great, but I think the other apartments are of a similar style and standard. The next apartment has a huge balcony.”

“The room with the little outside area - down stairs from the others - was just lovely.”

“The two 'main floor' rooms, La Trota Azzura and Il Gambera Rosso are the two with the beautiful terrace. DO NOT let the fact that it doesn't have air conditioning deter you. The castle walls are thick and the stone keeps the apartments VERY COOL - we were there in July with 30 degree weather outside and a cool comfortable sleep EVERY night because of the castle and the hills.”
