Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visit this site every year, sometimes twice a year!!! The wardens are fantastic. Always friendly and welcoming, and helpful. The site is emaculately clean. The toilet blocks are dated and desperate for a refurb, but I guess they're waiting for the site renovation? Our block only had 3 toilets in use! Showers have lovely hot water. My only niggle is they close one shower block at 10am for cleaning! The very time you might want to shower if you've had a lazy morning on holiday! But there is another block you could use! This site is always peaceful, even when busy, and the walks directly from the site are plentiful and just beautiful. That's why return year after year!

A peaceful campsite, lovely location on the edge of the Sandringham Estate, Friendly helpful staff, facilities clean and well maintained (if a little dated). We booked for two nights, but stayed for three. The Sourdough Pizza Van, on its regular Thursday visit, was unexpected culinary treat.

The whole visit from the first phone call was brilliant. We rang up less than 24 hours before arriving to check availability as a last minute visit., the man who answered could not have been more accommodating, asked if we had children & said there was a pitch free right next to the park & also said us checking out a little later on the Friday wouldn’t be an issue so we didn’t have to find somewhere to wait to get onto our next site. He took my name & made note & said he would keep an eye for our arrival. On arrival we was greeted by a lovely lady who told us all we needed to know & pointed us in the direction of the pitch by the park. The pitch was spacious & great for our kids especially the toddler as she loved the freedom of being able to play on the park & we could watch from the pitch. The site is spotlessly clean with bins emptied numerous times a day & all staff super friendly & helpful. The showers/toilets are dated but they’re very clean & we was told they’re due to be replaced in the near future. Unfortunately our 13 year old daughter dislocated her knee at the beach just a few hours after our arrival meaning we then spent a very late night at hospital not arriving back until 1am. My partner did apologise to staff for any disturbances to others that may have heard us back so late & also asked if they knew locally of anywhere we could hire a wheelchair. Within 5 minutes the guy had radioed through to reception and had a number for us to call & then said if we needed any more assistance then just ask. They checked in daily to make sure everything was fine & we genuinely didn’t want to leave at the end of the stay. We will be back to properly explore the site & estate asap but in the mean time we will be 100% recommending the site to anyone looking for a site in the area

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and overall we’re really impressed. It’s a nice site, with excellent and friendly owners but there are a few things which would turn this into a 5 star site: • The shower blocks, especially the smaller one, are dated and very cramped. Needs a refurbishment to justify the CAMC price tag. • Wifi and mobile signal is appalling. Not the owners fault but, they could put a bench by the one and only access point rather than having guests sitting on the pavement or leaving against the wall. • Some pitches are very slanted - this could be sorted quite quickly but as it is caravans and Motorhome are perched precariously on a variety of different contraptions to get level. • The use of a tractor rather than an electric buggy to get around would make for a better ambience. But, other than those points above - the showers being the major one, we had a lovely stay and will be returning, hopefully after some refurbishment has taken place!

Room Tip: Lower pitches more level and closer to better toilet block.

Excellent weekend with the Norfolk branch of the Caravan and Motorhome club for the annual festival of lights. We spent a couple of hours walking around the fair and Luminte event, which was very good (although they were the most expensive toasted marshmallows we have ever had). But it’s all down to the experience. Had a pre booked afternoon tea, which was superb and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Quite a long walk (about 1.5 miles) from the site to the restaurant etc, but it was pleasant and burnt off a few calories. The club event was well organised and friendly. Fantastic weekend at a great venue.

Lovely site. Wardens were fantastic - a credit to the club. They helped us out with an electrical issue with our caravan even though it was out if hours. Thanks! Lovely walking and cycling area and handy for lots of attractions.

Received a very friendly welcome and nothing was to much trouble. No wifi and mobile signal very poor but we knew that before we arrived so not a problem for us. Wifi available to purchase but we didn’t need to. Pitch 80 is brilliant close to the toilet block and level. Lovely quiet site and brilliant walks into Sandringham. All information available from the information room on site. The only downside is the toilet block is dated but immaculate and clean so didn’t cause us any problems. Wardens very helpful. A fantastic fish and chip van visits site and the food was fantastic. Will definitely return, thank you very much.

This is a delightful site - a quiet and calming space among the trees. Staff are very friendly and the facilities are good. Some wonderful walking, running and cycling opportunities on the Sandringham estate as well as to nearby Castle Rising. Easy road access to Kings Linn and Hunstanton. For most adult visitors, a perfect camping and motorhome location. However, I need to maintain internet and mobile access 365 days a year, even on holiday, so for me the location was a nightmare. The so-called "Bronze" level Wifi is totally useless and one bar 3G at best on two different mobile carriers. I spent more time at the nearest cafe with WiFi (Thaxters in Dersigham) than on site in order to maintain electronic communications.

Stayed for 4 nights. I noticed a lot of unlevel pitches, levelling chocks giving it away. Mens 2nd shower block only has 3 showers with 138 pitches on site. In heavy rain the water runs down the site to the entrance driveway, flooding the area. This site has chargeable WiFi as all mobile signals are poor or non existant, but the WiFi is poor and expensive. Last bus from King's Lynn is 4pm and stops outside the site. Would we stay here again ? No. Wardens are helpful and friendly.

This is a beautiful site with good sized pitches - the staff are fantastic. There is a children’s play area. Toilet blocks were immaculately clean if a little “tired” best fish and chips we have ever had at a club site and the mobile chippy visits 3 times a week ! There is also an excellent pizza van that calls here
