Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a campsite (we were in our own tent), our experience was that the facilities were very good. Clean, plentiful, warm, hot water etc.
The site is well dispersed for tents it seems but we had a walk around and the caravans and motor homes seemed quite near to each other. The site isn’t flat so many had to utilise chocks to compensate.
We cycle so happy with the location in terms of access to nice safe quiet roads to get around. Some great routes (see Kamoot) we did over 50 miles in 2 days to discover various country villages and the Pedders Way route to Hunstanton. (Even with weather that would be better suited to autumn)
Easy access to other areas of Norfolk in the car, Norwich etc. North Norfolk is quite quiet and the coast (The Wash) is quite barren and windswept. Great for bird watchers by the way.
So, 4 nights with Hail, rain (lots and lots of rain) wind and sun, we enjoyed everything above.
Not so great? - Dogs Barking at all hours, and someone ordering other people around their dog because it was clearly a nutcase (the owner wore a “my dog needs space” jacket!) - perhaps a muzzle would be better than a lecture to anyone within lecture distance!
Pigeons, so many pigeons, cooing you awake every morning at 05:45 - 06:00am and dropping their stomachs all over your car, caravan, tent and motor home. We live in the countryside and have lived in Norfolk and Suffolk for the best part of 20 years, but these birds are definitely concentrated specifically in this campsite area. Before visiting family each evening, we had to clear the windscreen just to be able to see safely through the windscreen. We used the “dog/cycle hose” to clear the windscreen next to the gate. Couldn’t find anything else, no hoses in the water points or grey water zones and why would we carry a hose for a tent?
Anyway, the subsequent rollocking I received by a male member of staff for doing this on our last day was not only very inflexible, but not appreciated when I explained I couldn’t see to drive safely. Absolute jobsworth. Literally rinsing the Shi@e off my windscreen not setting up a car cleaning business at the gate!
I hadn’t read the trip advisor reviews until after we got home. Needless to say there are many many people commenting on the attitude of some members of staff. Left a bit of a bitter taste that experience. I’m 56 not 6. I have also travelled extensively around our World for the best part of 37 years. I can honestly say I haven’t seen so many signs and instructions in a space so insignificant as a bog standard campsite. Now I have met Mr inflexible, I can understand why!
I think perhaps some of the staff need to remember that if the paying public didn’t arrive each year, then they would have an empty wood and the company of pigeons.
Thanks, great week spoiled slightly by an absolute screamer!

Beautiful camp site!! I can not believe the bad reviews and reader please don’t either . First time camping as a family with two young children, also my first time ever !! Our pitch was spacious under the trees right by the playground and the facility block. I just need to clarify there were No strange smells and could not smell anything foul over the camp site other than the pine trees and fresh air, so not sure what others are talking about. The toilets and showers were always clean so no complaints there . When we arrived at 1pm waited for about 10 mins (no drama) we asked to be near the other couple who had booked slightly after us and the lady said no problem radioed through and it was sorted in seconds so we were all together . All staff were polite couldn’t ask for anything else . The chippy van was great and very reasonably priced (comes on a Thursday) . Camp site not far from Sandringham estate and other places of interest , about a 15-20 min drive to Hunstanton depending on traffic but handy if you know the back roads like we do!
Great place to walk and find sticks and play , rabbits run around and you can hear the odd owl in the night . It was pricey and no the Wi-fi isn’t great but it’s free so can’t moan, plus if you need the Wi-fi that badly (other than if you are working granted) are you really camping or sitting in front of screens still ? Would book again and would recommend to others !!!

This is a lovely thought out campsite with play parks for the kids, a dog walking area (be mindful it’s not enclosed once through the gate and leads straight onto a road) .
The shower areas are quite outdated but very clean and work perfectly, they have separate family washing rooms and a disabled wash room if required.
The site has a dish washing room and a laundry, again all very clean.
I’m not sure where the posts about the site being covered in bird poo are coming from as we saw non that would be classed excessive from what you’d expect from being out in the open countryside.
We were greeted at 1pm by a lovely member of staff who cycled the park with us until we found a spot we were happy with and gave us basic information about where everything was and what outside facilities came to the park such as a mobile fish and chip van and an ice cream van that offered so much choice!
We found all staff bar one very friendly, we did not however appreciate being screamed at to put our dog on the lead when we’d literally just got out of our car and were opening our tent to get the dog anchor to attach her, especially as our dog was literally sat waiting patiently by the tent door doing absolutely nothing wrong, she could see what was happening…
The site offers WiFi this however did not work at all during our 3 day stay, we thought it was our devices but we were approached by several visitors asking if we’d managed to connect to the WiFi.
There is no signal at the site either so I can imagine this could be a problem for some, I think this really ourt to be looked into as this isn’t a cheap site to stay at.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

I am a disabled wheelchair user and although this site advertised a disabled accessible room this 'disabled' room was open to all visitors on the site. This place is very covid insecure so, although it makes it a very expensive site, think about using your own facilities.

I had to wait a good while while everybody and their child used it before me. The able-bodied are well catered for with a large toilet block. We asked why the accessible room didn't have a lock and possibly a RADAR key system we were told it was illegal and discriminatory to do this. Discriminatory against who? The able-bodied? What an absolute joke. Rude staff here and inaccessible and unusable 'accessible' toilet we have cancelled our membership after many years and will never return.

We had heard that this was a good site so decided to spend a few days here not knowing that the weather was set so fair. The pleasantly warm and sunny weather tempted many other campers out too. The site is spacious and, in normal circumstances has three amenity blocks. Sadly, despite the site being so busy, only one was open. This meant that pressure on toilet facilities and showers was quite immense and made queuing essential especially on the Sunday morning. I think the C&CC needs to look at this and employ more staff so that more facilities can be opened or fewer campers booked in. Potentially, this would make us avoid such sites in early and late in the season. It’s something we have learnt.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and the facilities that were open were clean and well stocked. A shame though that there is no site shop as it’s quite a long walk to the nearest shop. It’s possible to drive to Tescos or Sainsburys in Kings Lynn or there is a Lidl en route to Hunstanton. A bit of a bind if you just run out of milk!
The Sandringham Estate is just 20 minutes walk away ( and we are pensioners). The House was closed when we visited but the shop and cafe made the walk worthwhile. There are lots of other walks through the woods for dog walkers.
We would go back to this site but not in March or October!

A great site to start our campervan holiday .
On arrival we were met at the site entrance by a member of staff who checked us in and showed us to our pitch , she was so helpful giving us the choice of what pitch suited us .
Sandringham is set in a woodland area and is so peaceful and relaxing. Shower block was clean and tidy . Walks were refreshing and great .
Fish and Chip van visits the site and a much needed Icecream van also comes on site .
All staff were very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area .
All in All a great site if you want a quiet stay
Thanks Sandringham CCC for a great holiday , see you all again soon xxx

You know when you read reviews and they all say the staff are rude and lack basic customer service skills, but you don’t quite believe them? Well, believe it! They speak to you like a headmistress (mostly the women who appear to be the rudest) chastising a naughty school child. Not the way I like to be spoken to at the best of times, but especially when I am paying them to use their facilities! It feels a little like ‘well you’re here now and you’re not going anywhere so we can say what we like!’ Well I’ll say this, I certainly won’t be going back again. In 12 years of regularly using campsites (including within Europe) I have never felt less welcome.
The surroundings are peaceful, that’s the only positive I can think of. Other than that it’s miles away from anywhere and you will be parked underneath messy trees with pine cones dropping on your roof all night and bird poo covering everything you own.

Our first stay at the the park and definitely not our last. What a fantastic, clean and welcoming place. The staff we met were all very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to help you.
We stayed in our caravan on a lovely quiet pitch just near the woods, where you could just sit and relax and watch the world go by.
Easy access to water tap, grey waist, and bins. The Village Fryer visits the park 3 times aweek, which is very enjoyable and very tasty.
Pitches are well space out but remember to take your chocks as not all pitches are level.
Great for a visit to Sandringham House, Hunstanton and Cromer or a shopping trip to Kings Lynn.
We took a trip to Sandringham House £11 each to get in but totally worth it, even though the house itself is closed (covid restrictions) at present still a lovely walk around the gardens.
Thank you all at the Sandringham Caravan & Camping Club site your hard work was truly noticed.

No grass, on a grass pitch, just huge surface mounted tree roots. Free wi-fi that doesn’t work, intermittent phone signal, a cess pit that smells like a cess pit, my daughter who I asked on two occasions to be sited near to us, placed as far away as the unhelpful ‘wardens’ could possibly site her, and on a sloping pitch in a trailer tent. All this for £30.50 per night for two concessionary members, of 25 years membership, in a caravan.

If you’re considering this site for a holiday, think agsin!
