We loved Selene's Pension but could see that it would probably not be for everyone. The location is on the further side of Lake Bafa and overlooks the lake. There is a small and not very appealing beach just below it, with a few fishing boats pulled up on the shingle, but we were conscious of being not in a...

Right out on its own, on Bafa Lake. Nothing really special and a long way from anywhere. Room small, neat and tidy, bit of a means to an end. Fish for dinner supposed to be a local speciality but a bit ordinary. Breakfast nice, overlooking the lake. We understand this place is mainly for hikers, but for us cyclists too...

We have been there for one night in March, and we were really disappointed by this hotel. It was really expensive for just a room and dinner+breakfast. When we arrived in the room we found a LOT of spiders (big and small) and the room was not clean. The dinner was not really enough and we were still hungry after...

Rural Turkey location. Fantastic food, Great Location, Great Guides. Kubilay met us and was very welcoming, we had two nights here and loved every minute. Kubilay took us out on the lake in his boat to see the ruins of the castle and monasteries and then to see some faint pre historic rock art. We spent the rest of the...

We stayed 2 nights at Selene's Pension to have a break from ancient ruins and do some hiking and outdoor activities. The pension is in a small village on the shore of Lake Bafa. It's a really beautiful location and we went down to the little beach to watch the sunset one night which was magical. The pros of being...

A lovely site overlooking the lake and surrounded by ancient, unrestored ruins. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nothing fancy but a fine nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant if grilled local fish was also superb

It is totally fabulous to make a stop at beautiful Lake Bafa and serene, delightful Selene's. We had standard rooms, which are modest, but clean, comfortable and complete with brand new bathrooms, the porch was a nice touch, but no lake view. However, we spent very little tome there and the view from the common areas was great, we had...

We have just had two nights in this beautiful little pansiyon and wish we could have had longer. The location by the lake is superb. We had a great balcony to watch the ever changing scene on the water and the local villagers taking their cows along the road each morning. Both the bedroom and bathroom were excellent with a...

Kapikiri is an excellent respite from the coastal mass tourism in the area. We spent 3 nights at Selene’s after Ephesus and a night in Selcuk. Selene was a goddess who bewitched a shepherd boy to sleep for decades as she took advantage of him and bore him many children. It was a welcome incentive to stay awake. Bafa Lake...
