Our room was fine, everything u need for a short stay. Alan is very attentive and can't do enough for you. I would definitely recommend and would visit again myself. Don't expect the Ritz but perfect for 3/4 days.

Certain accidents are meant to happen. A senior Canadian couple enjoying a one month Golden Wedding present B&B holiday in the UK, needed to break our journey for 1 night. What a pity we were unable to stay longer, Bridget's dinner, wine and conversation kept us up far too late. Breakfast was excellent, but hurried as we all had to move quickly.

I'd say this is average for a B&B. The family room we stayed in (number 1) was large and clean but a bit tired, especially the bathroom which needed a little maintenance. The owner was friendly, but none of the personal attention you get in some B&Bs. Breakfast was good but again, not great, and even though we'd been asked the night before what we wanted and what time we'd be down, our order had been forgotten and we had to wait for 45 minutes for our food as others (who'd asked for breakfast later) had come earlier than us and been served first. I would stay again without a problem, but would look first for a better option.
