The Highland Manor was truly incredible!! The house itself is beautiful, old fashioned with a lot of history and located a couple of minutes walking from the centre of Owen Sound. Linda and Paul were wonderful hosts with a great sense of humour, they gladly helped us plan our days and dinners. Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights over...

This is a real interesting old house that has a lot of history. We stayed 2 nights. Our hosts Paul and Linda couldn't have been more kind and helpful. The house is unique and has lots of character. Breakfasts were scrumptious. As first time visitors to Owen Sound, Paul was our tourist guide providing great ideas for things to see...

Linda and Paul greet with open arms, and a superb sense of humour. As a returning guest, I always look forward to their company, the stunning architecture and comfort of the house, my first mug of coffee, and delicious breakfasts. The music room is a tribute to Linda's gift as a concert pianist, the library an early morning haven before...

My mom and I arrived a bit later in the evening than expected, but were still graciously given a tour of the manor. The house was built in 1872 and is in a quiet residential area of Owen Sound. It is wonderfully decorated according to the time period, but still has all modern amenities (including wifi!). There is an old...

We arrived in a heatwave to a genuine warm welcome from Paul and Linda. Following an interesting tour of their beautiful home we were shown to our room. This was a delightful and quiet retreat with superbly comfy beds which were elegantly made up and looked very inviting. En-suite bathroom was very clean and well appointed with hair dryer etc...

This century home is incredible. 12 foot ceilings, lots of shared space. Our room was light, airy, very spacious and well decorated. In keeping with the age of the home. Anyone who loves history will enjoy their stay. Linda was so great in recommending things to do. We had a great conversation with Paul over breakfast. Both are wonderful hosts....

Our stay at The Highland Manor Inn was our very first experience at a B&B and will most certainly not be our last! Linda and Paul were the most gracious of hosts at their 144 year old home! From booking our stay with my husband to the phone call on our expected date of arrival to verify any food allergies...

Initially we had some trouble finding the property as there are two streets in Owen Sound with very similar names and both are different sides of the River. Once at Highland Manor we were impressed with the grandeur of the building and were interested to hear some of the history from the owners. We enjoyed our stay in what is...

The manor, built 1827, is a beautiful old manor house lovingly remodelled by Linda and Paul - we had a really nice 2 nights. The beds were super comfy and the room spacious and elegant. Very convenient to downtown. Breakfasts were delicious. We'll come back if in the area
