We booked this place for a weekend with our daughter. When we arrived in the early evening on the Friday, the place was empty. First red flag! The middle of July and no one around? This place should have been packed with people. Anyway, we went into the office and again no one. We called two telephone numbers that were...

I have gone camping many many times and this place was horrendous. The website stated that there were washrooms and toilets. There are no flush toilets, only portable washrooms and some kind of shower that I would refuse to use. Also the website does not state anything regarding nudism. Well guess what? The owner himself is the nudist (pervert). Running...

Our family (2 boys 5 and 2) spent a July weekend here with an RV and had an amazing time. We took a waterside location and had a personal sand beach all to ourselves. The main beach was amazing fun for the kids and the waterfalls are spectacular, especially how close you can get to them with a paddle boat...

Just stay away and burn your money, it will save you the aggravation of letdown after letdown regarding this place. If you are looking for a country bumpkin, shabby (not chic), overpriced travel "destination" that is unpretentious yes, but not "good" in the way most of the world judges "good", then this is your place. The pictures on the website...

The place is old, our room was cold, the heating smells. There are lots of toys around, which is great, it's just they are all broken, dirty, some rusted. The owner runs around naked and starts to argue when asked to get dressed. If you want to camp naked - this is a place for you. Oh, and he charged...

We enjoyed ourselves so much last May that we decided to return to this wonderful resort. The proprieters, Brian and his charming wife April, were as courteous as before. The hot tub was hot and the pool somewhat heated. This year the waterfalls was far larger and roared like a mini Niagara Falls. We met a lovely young family and enjoyed...

We had another fantastic week of camping. This resort is so beautiful that is has kept us coming back for seven years. Our young adult children have started joining us and our now bringing their friends to enjoy everything that the place has to offer. In fact our children couldn't believe that we had kept High Falls Cottage Resort secret...

Honestly, great place, very safe for kids and lots for them to do, paddle boats, waterpark, heated pool, hot tub...The cabins are very clean and nice and roomy and they come very well equipped, you don't need to bring much...Will definitely come back!!! Very accessible location off of highway!

We had a lot of fun at High Falls. The owners are laid back and friendly, there are tons of activities and the falls are gorgeous. Yes, the rooms are totally old-school motel style (got a double bed room, not one of the cottages) and kind of shabby, but they were clean and did the trick. There was a fair...

I am glad i didnt pay attention to the minority of reviews that were negative! Our cottage was clean, lots of activities for the children, and the owners very pleasant and there were always other happy guests around, they must be doing something right! Leslie made sure we had everything we needed (extra towels, plastic cups, etc.) there are two...
