We booked this hotel last minute and easily got a reservation. It's a decent budget hotel. Pros: Room and bathroom is a little roomier than other comparable hotels, convenient location. We had a decent view of the Chief from our window. Room was clean. Standard continental breakfast. We liked having the mini kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge. Wifi was...

Stayed here for two nights for an early morning visit to whistler. It was about a 50 min drive from the hotel but traffic was crawling nearing to Lake Placid. Hotel stay included Wi-Fi, continental breakfast and parking. Wi-Fi worked well, and breakfast was adequate with hard boiled eggs, a variety of breads, cereals, fruits, oatmeal and assorted jams, cream...

Seriously have no complaints. Price was OK, and the rooms were really big and lots of nice touches: good soap (passable), great shower, nice TV, etc. All the good stuff. Hair dryer too. The pool was awesome. There was a gigantic slide with water running into it... I felt like a kid again. Also a hot tub. If you forgot...

Quick stop en route to Vancouver - close to shops, grocery, activities, sights etc. Staff was friendly. Rooms are a great size with blackout curtains! The gym is small but if you need a little workout it's great. Pool and hot tub - pool has a fun slide if travelling with kids..also good for adults!

We didn't expect such a comfortable stay from a chain hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. We had good night sleep in a comfortable bed; it was very quiet. The kitchenette was handy. We were pleased with the pool and the hot tub. Friendly staff. Overall, great choice for a reasonable price; only 40 minutes to Whistler.

We stayed here for the Squamish Music Festival. The hotel was sold out as this year the SMF had more than 80000 people attending. The staff handled everything well. We could not use the hot tub as it was jammed all the open hours. We rode our bikes to the festival and valet parked them at the venue. When we...

This past November was my first time staying in a Sandman hotel as we were doing some work in Squamish. I found the hotel and room to be clean and contemporary though a bit sparse and cold. The room itself was a bit too large for my taste which added to the coldness and the sparseness. I also didn’t enjoy...

We are pleased you enjoyed our clean contemporary rooms. It is a shame you found the rooms to be more spacious than your liking. All our rooms are carpeted except the bathrooms and entrance as far as the kitchenette. The higher floors are nice for enjoying views of the Chief on the south side.

We spent last weekend at the Sandman Hotel in Squamish - the facility is comfortable and offers average amenities perfect for a budget friendly family get away which is both close to the city and Whistler. The breakfast isn't fancy but the coffee is good so it's a nice way to start your day. Unfortunately, it was a busy holiday...
