We were not disappointed, this place was clean, the staff was nice and helpful. They only have a hot tub, so my kids were a bit disappointed and it was super hot (even for me), but with water close by in the summer that shouldn't...More
Lovely, helpful staff. Really comfy beds and super clean. Right on historic Baker Street so you can pretty much walk everywhere. We ended up with a sick child while staying and they were very accommodating - giving us all the extra linen etc needed. Would...More
Another great stay at the Best Western Plus Baker Street Inn. I love this location because of the staff and the quality of my sleep when I stay. I have never been let down by this location. Thank you for always making me feel so...More

At the West end of Baker Street so a short walk from most of the shops and restaurants. Pleasant and helpful staff. Room was very good with large fridge , microwave and coffee machine. WiFi was a bit weak as is often the case in...More
The experience we had at the Best Western in Nelson was fantastic. The staff were super accommodating (they let us check in early even though they were clearly quite busy), the room was clean, the restaurant downstairs was great, and the location is fantastic. You're...More

I came from out of town to Nelson, my girlfriend was also coming from out of town , we decided to meet at the Best Western in Nelson to have a late lunch , early dinner, i parked across the street from hotel , Parking lot sign says "customer Parking"made a quick stop and proceeded to walk to restaurant to meet my friend , as i was walking to the bottom street cross walk, there was something attached to the wheel well on my truck, in a panic i went to see what it could be, considering i drive a brand new truck, they put a lock on the tire, so i went over to meet my g/f who had not arrived yet,i called the RCMP, , who thought they were also being unreasonable, needless to say, i had to pay the 50 $ , for the release of my truck, and they wanted me to still have lunch there, are you kidding me, they were extremely rude. Manager Ryan Martin and Attendant Cane, i am a mature 50ish , working in Health Care system, just wanting to have lunch w/ a dear friend that i hadnt seen for awhile. UPDATE, as i am writing this the Manager has called me to tell me his problem that he does not make enough money w/ Best Western, so he was not there to deal w/ situation , because he was working at the Hotel Hume down the street, wow. He is not prepared to deal with me, he called because he realized that i made a complaint to the head office, which i will now call back. These kids need more training in customer service, and professionlism, to attack someones credibility and make them look bad, to make yourself look better, is not good business, i am sharing this , because i am a very unhappy customer, and membership holder. Social Media can be the judge , and small town i will tell anyone that listens.

It just has a restaurant called the Baker Street Grill. It does have a sectioned off bar area which is more lounge like but it is essentially just part of the restaurant. If you are looking for a nice lounge, you can't beat the Library Lounge in the Hume Hotel.
