Did all inclusive for 5 nights. Lovely hotel abit remote but I like the vibe. Food and drink was amazing staff made sure you had refreshments during meals and was very sociable. Room was OK . Noticed staining on chaise longe apart from that everything was clean. Drinks was good but some drinks on the menu you had to pay for which would normally be free in other hotels. Entertainment was good. When questioned about al le carte meal they said because I was 5 days this was not free so had to pay €40 for 6 courses to which I was sat in a corner where I couldn't see my food. On my last night I returned to my room from the sky bar. Got settled in bed and at half 9 heard a banging on my door. Ignored it but banged again so I answered and a male staff member asked if I wanted refreshments. I said no I'm tired and shut the door. Was very freaked out by this. Apart from those points I did enjoy it bit I don't think I'll go again

5 Star hotel with 5 star staff and 5 star experience only one minor thing that went wrong on our trip is dont open the terrace windows/doors after dusk as the mossies and midgets will eat you alive. 2 great swimming pools unheated. Great buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. 2 other lovely restaurants one on the roof which needs to be pre booked in advance and another by the lower outside swimming pool. Some amazing excursions that can be booked through the hotel inc trips to Corfu Town, Albania and Jeep Safari of the Island. The hotel is not really within walking distance to the nearest town but taxis are available. There is a mini shop in the hotel and there is a slightly bigger shop down the road from the hotel which sells alcohol, food and greek nik naks. My partner was amazed with the coffee from the reception bar.

In short this is just not a 5 star hotel. The facilities are limited, the staff aren’t great and I wouldn’t return. For a quick review simply look at the photos- it’s just not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. For a more detailed review: The hotel is meant to be “all inclusive” however most things are not included in all inclusive. Constantly having to ask if the food/drinks you’re ordering are extra or being told “that will be payable” when you order because there’s only select drinks etc. that are all inclusive. This felt very awkward to keep having to ask or for the waiter to say you know that’s payable. For example only the hotels basic drinks are included. E.g classic cocktails like a pinacolada or mojito are around €5/€6 each depending on the drink. They had also priced them differently in different areas of the hotel. I could get a Paloma cocktail at the lobby bar included in the all inclusive but if I went upstairs to the bar on the roof they charge €5. But you can go down to the lobby bar and take your drink upstairs? Seems bizzare. Even in the restaurants it’s extra charges for certain foods but the most random food. E.g if you ask for tatsiki it’s an extra charge but if you ask for the starter which is a bowl of tatsiki with bread it’s included. It’s also like this with the drinks E.g Chocolate milkshakes are €5 extra but you can get chocolate ice cream and a glass of milk included in the all inclusive. I just feel like there’s so many extra charges, for the most basic things, like tatsiki? In Greece? It’s literally a dip? Then it’s not just the alcohol, it’s some soft drinks too. Lots of areas are very run down- sun beds are ripped, curtains had holes in, the sofa in one of our rooms had a tear in and were marked with makeup. The patio needs a good jet wash and a scrub! Restaurant staff were not very good. They would hover over you whilst picking bits up from the buffet and as soon as you put a spoon down they will pick it up and move it like you shouldn’t have touched it. Had to keep finding staff if you want a drink, they weren’t very attentive to the table, they’d come once when you’re lucky and that would be it. At breakfast the waiters will get you coffee but not tea, you have to get the tea yourself, so people are walking around balancing their breakfast plates and mugs of boiling water. Also waiters won’t get water for you in the mornings but you have to ask them for it in the evenings. It was a bit of a guessing game on day 1 to what we had to ask the waiter for and what we had to get ourselves. It was coming across rather rule led. I think it would be much better to just have the waiters do all drinks. Again the rule led system continued down. By the pool. We got a drink from there pool bar one day and sat drinking it, we then wanted to hed back to the room to start getting ready for dinner so naturally took the drinks with us and as we got up to walk away the bar man started shouting at us to stop. I was so confused, we went over to him and he said he was shouting for carrying the glasses. You can only carry plastic cups. It really felt rather school like. Not the sort of thing to expect from a 5 star hotel. Totally appreciate they are trying to enforce health and safety with glass but there’s also an element of trusting adults who have spent a lot of money on what’s meant to be a “luxury” holiday to carry their drinks to their room. Breakfast says late breakfast till 11am but all food is packed away before 11am. They turn off all the heat lamps and start packing away at 10.30am. Dress code in restaurant at dinner is not enforced, says smart casual but people walk in just from the pool in their crocs/sliders etc. Sunbed cushions are always left out overnight so in the morning the sun beds are soaked (it rained over night during our stay) Tv absolutely rubbish. No sound on half the channels. Very temperamental, only one English Channel which was bbc news continuous coverage of war. No shops nearby like it says there are on their website. We asked at reception and she said nearest shops are an hour away even though on their website it says 500m from shopping area. When I asked at reception if we could walk to the closest shops she laughed at me. Room service left outside rooms for so long that they’d have wasps flying around them. You have to book the sauna??? When we checked in the lady explained to us that you got 1 dinner reservation at the Al a Carte restaurant during your stay. When we later went to book this the lady said because we were staying for 5 nights we did not get this. They need to make it clear what you get, I explained that the lady said we got the reservation included and she said you only get it if you stay for 7 nights. The fact she had told us I think they should have honoured this but instead they just got quite rude. I think it would be fair for all guests staying to have 1 dinner in the restaurant. And if not don’t mention it to the guests!! This was after we had to move rooms as the first room we were given was so run down. We had to stay in the first room for 1 night and then re pack and move the next day as they supposedly had no other rooms. I think a simple dinner in the restaurant would have been a nice apology for the upset and inconvenience caused! Couple of positives that are worth a mention however are: The Female singer on 16th October 2023 excellent! I wish I got her name as the hotel definitely owe credit to her. Oceano was a really good lunch restaurant. Al a Carte and makes a lovely change from the buffet restaurant all the time.

spent a week at this hotel and can honestly say that our disappointment started the moment we arrived and did not end until we left. this is not a luxury hotel as portrayed on the website, but at best a 3 star offering. The staff were polite but unless pressed would not go further than the minimum to please the guests. poolside the furniture was falling apart and needed completely replacing. The pools were not clean and had chipped tiling, Food offerings varied . The buffet breakfast was mediocre and lacked appeal , the evening buffet option was like a ''student canteen'' . We chose to go to local restaurants for a hugely more attractive offering. The bars were ok but as the majority of guests were all inclusive, the atmosphere later in the day was lively and typical Brits on the booze. dominated by what in years ago would be referred to as an ''18 to 30's'' binge drinking experience. If you want o have a quiet time go out of the hotel grounds after 2pm. The towels were rationed , cheap and mostly threadbare. The rooms were ok but no where near 4* plus as suggested on the website. if you wanted to speak with management , this was typified by a nonchalant attitude by the receptionist who would only stop chatting to their colleagues after you have waited patiently for a while. One service manager was very good but seemed overwhelmed by the demands on his time. Our relief was finally realised when our taxi to the airport arrived on time .

An inviting, clean and calm hotel (without children)! Already at the reception we met the smiling and charming Yara who also accompanied us to a great room with an amazing view. The service of the staff is excellent, but I would especially mention Alex who took care of our needs at all times and answered everything and did it with a friendly smile.

Our 3rd visit this year - we just LOVE this place, LOVE the staff, LOVE the food and drinks and the beautiful and spacious rooms this hotel has :) We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoy the drinks whilst watching the world go by. The only thing that this hotel could improve is entertainment - the only thing we enjoyed a the lady with the violin, the rest of the entertainment is very basic and not a 5*. We hope yo see you soon :)

Booked an October break at Mythos Palace half board myself & Partner. Were welcomed by the receptionist staff & made to feel instantly welcome. Superior room with sea view was delightful. We sat out most nights on balcony with a bottle of wine ( from local mini market, 3rd the price from house wine..Sssh don't tell hotel!) The swim up pool bar was always popular but never an issue to get a sunbed. The lower swimming pool and restaurant/drinks bar was a nice alternative & a little quieter. There's also the option of chilling out down at the small pebbled beach bottom of the hotel though bring booties, stoney. We thought the breakfast was generally very good with plenty of choice. The evening meals also were quite good though depending what time you ate could be a little lukewarm. The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere but if your'e happy to chill peacefully then that's grand. We had a number of bites from mosquitos despite purchasing spray both in room and maybe in outside dining area but we noticed others legs seemed to be having the same problem! We did a day trip into Corfu town which was well worth it. The excursion we didn't enjoy was the trip to the two islands' Paxos & Anti Paxos, overlong and tedious there and back but maybe we chose the wrong trip. The thing that makes the holiday is the hotel staff. Our room was constantly tidied. The waiting and bar staff work hard and I do question some people's expectation of all inclusive. You get what you pay for. Overall a nice relaxing experience, the mythos palace is a good 4 star because of the staff.

Great stay All the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Three pools, all open till evening plus a small stony beach front. Also has a spa, sauna and gym. Lobby and serenity pool bars are open all day with great service. Three great restaurants : the main restaurant Zoe offers great choice and variety of buffet foods and your drinks served to your table. The Olea restaurant at the down hill pool offers a six courses A la Carte dinner with great service plus there is a golf buggy you can book for a lift back up. Also there is a roof restaurant with great views for dinner but you must book in advance. Our room was very clean and spacious with a nice balcony. All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable late autumn stay and definitely recommend for guests seeking a quieter location and will come back.

My friend and stayed at this hotel from 14th October to 24th October, so after arriving at the hotel on a half board basis it was around 12.45am ,we were told that there was some food laid on as I was hungry I went to investigate, salad....hmm no thanks so drank some juice and off to bed we went so next day Sunday had breakfast very nice and dinner in the evening also good I will mention that I go to Greece to sample the food and drink. It wasn't until the day before I went home I found two pot's that said Greek corner that's when I had the chicken gyros, otherwise there was not much greek food at all OK rant over. On the plus side rooms were good extra comfy beds , cleaned every day and very helpful staff I must mention Agnetha ,she was so very helpful in the restaurant :) so summing up to me this wasn't 5 star ,more like a 4 star hotel, and with the name kairaba mythos Palace Hotel and no mythos beer the taverna down the road got plenty of business from us .
