Pretty basic room about ready for updating, but very comfy twin memory foam beds. Perfect after long day hiking the TMB. The lobby and dining room appear to have been updated recently and are quite stylish. Food is cooked by owners and dinner was lovely and tasty. We especially like the fresh greens and wonderful salad dressing. Breakfast was pretty... More

Nice little village. Ok room with balcony with nice Mountain view and plastic chairs. Room and private bath ok. Nice people and service. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was dissapointing, I hoped for some local quality food. I got dull plate rice with some chickencurry, more for profit than from hart. Very expensive, dull wine, the chardonnet we ordered was extreemly... More

It must be difficult to be a hotel directly on the TMB route if you're not really that bothered about hikers making up a large part of your summer clientele. It certainly seemed to show at the Edelweiss that we were almost there under sufferance, despite being paying guests. The hotel lobby, dining room, bar and general communal areas were... More

This formed part of our overnight stop on TMB. Outside of hotel and reception looks pretty good. Rooms were well worn. Having said that there was a good shower. The walls between bedrooms are thin and noises travelled. We had a balcony overlooking a tired tennis courts and beautiful mountains. Dinner was good. Salad, soup and chicken curry followed by... Lovely hotel in La Fouly. Had a room with a deck next to the river. Very quiet. Left the deck door open all night to enjoy the sound of the river. The food was some of the best off the TMB. Dinner was served as if in a restaurant. Breakfast was also very good - continental style. Both are included... More

As another reviewer mentions, average is a great way to sum up this hotel. The first floor lobby, bar, and restaurant are very nice, it seems as though they've done a recent renovation. Our room was clean, albeit small, and had a nice view. Dinner was a highlight, so we had high expectations for breakfast, but were let down. Breakfast... More

We stayed for 1 night during our TMB hike. Charming hotel with traditional Swiss architecture. Room was basic but super clean, great views, comfortable bed and hot shower. We had an ensuite room. Lobby is lovely. Wish the rest of the hotel was decorated as nicely. Maybe that is the longer term plan. We also ate dinner here. Service at... More

..to look up at a guest when you greet them at check in? We felt like intruders from the start. The woman at reception was passable in her hospitality. The man was, well, probably in the wrong business. Simple questions like, where do we take our bags? Or is there a code for the wifi? were answered curtly, again without... More

My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel on our recent Tour du Mont Blanc hike. The lobby area and restaurant look newly remodeled, but the rooms are very basic though clean. Our room did have a little balcony area with an amazing view of the mountains and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is also... More

We stayed in the family room on the second floor. There were two single beds and a bunk bed and a private bath. The bath had a shower and toilet. A hair dryer was provided. The room was clean and an appropriate size for four persons. The lobby is a modern style which doesn't really fit the Swiss chalet exterior... More
