Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and two children and I have been coming to this wonderful inn now for 17 years—the welcoming Prossliner family make it feel as if it's our home in the Alps. It is difficult to describe the homey feeling, the warmth and coziness, the feeling you're being taken care of with true hospitality, and the pride with which this family-owned establishment is run. You must experience it for yourself. The location is gloriously quiet and verdant, away from the bustle of Ortisei, yet near enough for easy access to all the rest of the Val Gardena and what it offers. The inn has been fantastically upgraded with a stunning new spa and outdoor spa "garden." And yet all that has kept us coming back for years—the hospitality, the comfy beds, the excellent food—remains. This place is a true gem for which we are thankful.

We spent an excellent weekend at this hotel. The Prossliner family do their best to make their guests feel at home. Always ready to give friendly advice on the best places to visit around the area. The rooms are very spacious, impeccably clean and airy yet very cosy in winter. Breakfast is very generous and the setting of the breakfast room is typical of the region.

My family and I have been going to this sweet inn for 12 years. The Prossliner family are wonderful--so welcoming and helpful; they have become one of the prime reasons we keep returning. The inn is very comfortable, the food superb, the views lovely. The prices are very good for what one gets in terms of comfort and sustenance, in other words, the price-quality ratio is excellent. This place, and the Prossliners, have become our home and family away from home--it is always so sad when we must leave the beautiful Val Gardena and the Cavallino Bianco. But we know we will keep going back.
