This guesthouse offers some decent rooms, and is a good place to start your jungle experience! The owner of the guesthouse is quick to respond to your emails, and can arrange everything you need, including flights from kutacane to banda aceh or medan! We did our jungle trekking from this place with our guide Jack, he made our experience extra... More

The place is great, also the tours they offer and manager. We didnt want to post the robbing in the middle of the night at the campsite in de jungle, but people deserve to know that they shouldnt bring valuables. Luckely we left our passports in the guesthouse, but our camera's, phone, backpack, clothing, first aid, etc where taken. We... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, during which we did a one day treck and went rafting. Ahmed was very helpful in organising both activities with excellent guides. He also sorted a taxi to and from Medan. All very reasonably priced and we saw 7 orangatans! We stayed in a wooden bungalow which was basic and clean. The concrete ones... More

The friendship guesthouse is a collection of nice bungalows, spacious and with private bathroom facilities. The food is excellent and the people friendly. However, the main reason to stay there is the jungle trek. We arrived around 7 in the evening and arranged to start a jungle trek of 3 days the very next day. The next morning we met... More
