Me , my husband and 1 year old child stayed at Pawapi for 4 nights, and Wish that we could stay longer. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed! Our very big villa right on the Beach was just perfect, clean, quiet, good Big bed, fresh water everyday. And we even got a baby crib. All the staff was so sweet and welcoming and smiling, and they took so good Care of our little 1 year old toddler. We felt so safe with everything. Both the Directing manager and the new Resort Manager Peter did everything they could to make the stay Great and we even got a late check out with no extra price. The pool is Big and Nice with free towels. The Beach is not crowded at all and very safe for children. The restaurant food was simple but great thai dishes. The breakfast was included the price, always freshly prepared, and we had a lot every morning - very good service. The small village is just 5 min walk with small massage places and good restaurants and small supermarkets.
I will definitely return to Pawapi and recommend to everyone :-)

We stayed in the beach view bungalow which is huge and stunning. It could fit 3 king sized beds. Great size balcony overlooking the ocean with deck chairs and table and air conditioning. The bathroom is modern and you can even slide open the wall so you can view the ocean whilst showering. Love the design. The pool is huge and plenty of deck chairs to relax. The reception area is amazing and the restaurant overlooks the ocean. Buffet breakfast was good and you can get eggs cooked your preferred way. Menu is good too lots of seafood and Thai. We are vegan and they made the dishes with just vegetables when requested. It would be nice to see a few vegan options on the menu though :). Also they currently don’t offer alternative milk with coffee so if you’re vegan I suggest you bring along some small almond milks from the supermarket on your journey and an avocado for your breakfast toast. Otherwise the island bakery has good vegan coffee choices. The hotel offers mountain bikes, stand up paddle boarding and you can organise tours that collect you from the beach. A trip to emerald cave was about 1000 baht. This is one of the better hotels on the island and I definitely recommend. Walking distance to everything along the beach. Otherwise a tuk tuk is 50 baht per person.

Thank you for creating a little piece of paradise that you share with people around the world.

Having visited Koh Muk island few times in the past, I find Pawapi to be the best of a great value for money stay. I stayed with my friends in sea view villa which was so nice, the coffee in the room was organic ones! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The new swimming pool is directly on the beach. We had few requirements during our stay but was immediately handled by management.

Dear 959semsem, Thank you very much for your positive comments in regards to our hospitality, our new swimming pool, and Coffee. In regards to our organic coffee in-room that you liked, we usually advise our guests to get the coffee beans out of the coffee sachet before pouring hot water on it if they prefer a more intense taste for the coffee. I'm glad to hear that your few requirements were well handled by management and we are all really so much looking forward to welcoming you again at Koh Mook Pawapi Beach Resort very soon! Best Regards, Peter Ghaly. EAM

What a terrible decision to book this place. The island itself is beautiful but the hotel really ruined our trip. If you come here, you better bring your boxing gloves and a broom.

Our nightmare started on the day of arrival where the beach and the common area was full of garbage. Only after raising our concerns, some of the trash was picked up. Once you leave the premises, neighbouring resorts maintain this beautiful island and its beaches, even when closed during COVID.

Multiple issues mainly about cleanliness have been raised with little to no response. We used all communication channels to get any reponse and action. There is a lot of staff for this small hotel with medium occupancy during the COVID pandemic. It is a mystery to me how this place and the garden can be in such terrible condition.

After we complained that our Bungalow 5 with mouldy fridge, dripping roof and without light in bathroom wasn't cleaned despite us already asking for it in the afternoon, the hotel manager Peter discriminated my partner, looking down on her because he is "not talking to women" and he was about to start a physical fight with me. He was held back by his coworker and brought away. That seems be his understanding of customer service and examplifies how this place is run.

This hotel did not disappoint. Yes, there are cheaper options, however, this is an incredible place to stay if you are looking at upper end hotels. Details were exquisitely taken care of, the food was fantastic, and the facilities unfathomably amazing. The views are spectacular and the staff 6 stars. I would stay here again in a heartbeat compared to some of the other resort.

The staff are sooooo friendly and helpful , it was so lovely - our room was cleaned regularly and there was really sweet attention to detail. The pools have great views and are nice to sit and read by.

The attention to details was amazing, staff knew our preferences from day 1, made sure everything was spotless at all times and fulfilled any request we had. The hotel was beautiful with multiple activities throughout the day. Breakfast and meals in general were delicious and staffs was so attentive and considerate.

The little private beach is lovely and their infinity pools beautiful. We only felt sorry we didn’t stay longer and recommend to visit here !

Me and my family booked 3 nights in a beach front villa long before our visit. But when we arrived they simply showed us to a deluxe bungalow instead without saying anything! When we went back and checked as they must have made a mistake we got no help. We had the booking confirmation to prove but it did not help. So instead of the luxury villa we had booked got the bungalow with no door (!) for the toilet, a moldy shower, big gaps in the floor and walls where the mosquitos got in leaving us a bad experience (as it was getting late so we had to stay one night in that uncomfortable bungalow) . The manager at the site could not do anything but tell us to call the GM in Bangkok. We spent many hours on the phone (costing us a small fortune!) trying to solve this issue via the booking firm Hotels.com. Finally Hotels.com got hold of the Bangkok manager admitted that they had moved us (downgraded our booking) two days before upon our arrival but we had not been contacted and we still don't know why as we clearly had booked and paid something else. The next day they could still not offer us the villa that we had booked so we had to relocate to another resort (huge thanks to the support team at Hotels.com, no thanks to Pawapi). I'm really disappointed with how we were treated, we have not received an explanation or excuse from the management or suggestion of any compensation as we had to stay in a cheaper bungalow (and pay for the relocation as in boat tickets for the whole family).

We came with a longtail boat directly to the beach in front of the restaurant. Normally the luggage is picked up by the staff. We carried our luggage alone. As we came to the reception the so called manager Peter told me that we have a very low price for the beachfront Villa. We were told 3 times that our price is very low. He said this was a failure of the former Management but we can have a Bungalow for this price. We were a little bit confused because of that and the unfriendly welcome.
They just provide a very small menu and just normal drinks like Coke, beer etc. No Smoothies, ice tea, Cocktails and so on. The breakfast was not really good. Only the coffee was good. We did not eat anything next to breakfast.
The beach villa was huge and clean and right at a beautifull beach. The pool is nice as well.
We definitly will not come back as long as Peter is there because he really has no idea how to run a resort like this and he is unfriendly like hell. Prices for bungalows and food definitly to high.

Having visited Koh Mook island many times in the past, I found my last time at Pawapi to be the best one. Resort location can not be any better, staff can not be more friendly and the beach front villa can not be more comfy. Me, my wife and our kids enjoyed our stay there in Villa A3 that we will definitely return back to stay in again. Thanks to Pawapi for great customer service.
