My husband and I, and two other couples met at Priskilly for our annual break, and it was like we had never been away. We received our usual warm welcome from Joy, Phil and Rebecca, and caught up on family and local news since our last visit. It didn’t take us long to slip into our routine; delicious breakfasts, continental or cooked (oh, that bacon!), then some of us enjoyed a round of golf, while the non players explored the farm and woodland via bridleways and paths, returned to favourite places or discovered new ones. We spent our evenings in the large but cosy drawing room with the log burner crackling, playing card or board games, reading or crafts. Sinking into the pillows on the huge, comfortable bed later was a treat. This elegant house is spotlessly clean, food is delicious, and nothing is too much trouble for the Evans family. We look forward to seeing you again…

This place is a beautiful haven in a beautiful country, Joy is an absolute Joy and is so welcoming, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt at home and that nothing was too much trouble. Without a doubt we will be back and I am already checking my diary for possible dates. The breakfast is to die for, so fresh and quality produce. Joy is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and is always at hand to give advice where to eat or where to visit. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in West Wales stay here 🥰

My husband and I spent 3 nights here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful location - secluded and peaceful - and Joy and Phil were warm and welcoming. The personal touches such as returning to our room after a day out for our anniversary to find bubbly, flowers, a card and some lemon cake made us feel very special! Lovely house, lovely setting and a lovely family.

A group of 6 of us returned to Priskilly for a week at the end of October for our regular Autumn break, and it was wonderful to be back in this cosy house. We were given such a warm welcome by Joy and Phil, and immediately felt at home, even though it’s 2 years since we last stayed. Our room was warm, the enormous bed was comfortable and the food delicious. My husband and I don’t play golf, but our friends enjoyed several hours on the course while we explored the beautiful countryside. Our evenings were spent in the lounge, comfortably seated round the fire. We can’t wait to return next year. Thank you Joy, Philip and family.

We have been coming here for around 10 years now and absolutely love it! My wife and son visit normally with a friend. The greeting we always receive from the family is exceptional! They are so welcoming and helpful. We are not good golfers but are always made to feel really welcome here. This is not a cushy par 3 pitch and put and the holes are a good length…however we have played it with a couple of friends who are just starting playing and this still works. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! Love the place and in particular the welcome!

Rural and quiet, this country house is not your ordinary place to stay. Traditional furnishings and antiques, with bags of character, set in a stunning location amidst the forest with its own 9 hole golf course. Joy and Phil offer old school excellent hosting and the breakfast is finely prepared and served in a stunning dining room. Nothing is too much trouble, they even helped us find places to eat. We shall look forward to visiting again. Thank you so much.

Stayed for a week to explore Pembrokeshire, and what a great choice it was. Beautiful setting , with lovely golf course, and most comfortable of giant beds and pillows - very rare. Joy and Phil , our hosts, could not have been better or more helpful or more friendly. Breakfasts were wonderful and there were many restaurants around for evening meals. Worth everyone of its 5 stars. Wonderful holiday - many thanks to Joy and Phil.

On a weeks hols & the 2=of us just had to play 18 holes of golf. Well worth the £25 for a round of golf. The course was in great condition & there are some very challenging holes. Also had a nice pint & ham salad sandwich afterwards.

Loved so many things about our stay here. The house itself is very comfortable and has lovely antique furnishings in every room. It was perfectly situated for us to enjoy coastal walks all week. The service was outstanding! Joy would meet us with a smile every day and was very accommodating to make sure we had a nice stay. Joy and Phil gave us some great recommendations of restaurants and places to go. The cooked breakfast was a highlight for us and something we looked forward to every morning!
