A very cosy home-like place away from home... nice room but a bit small. Luckily, we had a beautiful living room next to the room which no one used, so we could use it. The highlight is the extraordinary breakfast, everything is deliciously homemade, from the wonderful jam to the tasteful fritata. Nicest host - helpful and very friendly. Very... More

Stayed at Au Presbytere for two nights. The host, Michel is very professional and knows the area like the back of his hand. He was very helpful giving us an overview of things to see and also helped us figure out what to do on a rainy day. Perce is a lot more impressive in the sun than in the... More

The location is perfect, at walking distance of major sites and best restaurants. The rooms are delicate, old-fashioned and charming. Michel will tell you everything you need to know and more. And the breakfast diversity will make your head spin. In such a visited and touristic area, it was wonderful to feel this dedication to quality.

We (parents and their adult daughter touring Quebec and the Gaspe Bay Peninsula) were delighted with this charming, heritage B&B in a very quiet part of Perce. So much so, that we asked if we could stay another night (3 nights in all)! The gite is spacious and is full of charm; the host is very professional but at the... More

We arrived in Percé on a rainy afternoon. Even in the rain we had a favourable impression of the gite. Michel was returning home when we arrived and immediately sat down with us to give us an orientation to the area as well as to our room. We were on the main floor and had a private bathroom. I am so pleased (and busy...)reading all those nice comments about the B&B and myself. Behind the calm Michel you met, there is well hidden anxiety and perfectionism obsession as ever. I am happy that it was a wonderful stay for you. Have a nice life. Cordially, Michel More

Struck by a hernia, host Michel was forced to stay put when we arrived, nevertheless we were welcomed warmly by the housemaid, to impress us by the well kept, and tastefully assembled interior, fitting to the former presbytère. “We chose the downstairs room with the private bath which is located off a common area. Because it was off season, the other guest didn't use the TV or stereo there so it was very quiet which might not be the case in-season. I believe the remainder of the rooms are upstairs.”
