We booked this B&B for two nights, to attend a function in Orillia. We arrived approx. 1 hour before the posted check-in time, but we were warmly greeted at the door by both Leslie & Molly. We were shown to our room upstairs...."The Mandarin Room: which has the most interesting bed and a million dollar view of the gardens and...

Molly & Leslie were wonderful hosts. We were there for two nights. The breakfasts Molly made was absolutely delicious. They were very accommodating to the needs of my wife myself and Francie my wife's service dog. Would definitely visit again.

This is an exquisite home located on the waters of Lake Simcoe with unique rooms full of antiques and interesting furnishings that all have a fascinating history associated with them. One of the few B&Bs in the area, Brasscranes-by-the-Lake is located just down the street from Casino Rama and downtown Orillia. What a hidden gem! We have stayed with them...

If you like antiques you will like this place, for me I just found it extremely crowded with things and a musty smell everywhere. Room was nice but bed very uncomfortable. Overall I was extremely uncomfortable at this b&b and left quickly. Pool is nice but I did not use it. One of the most expensive b& b, not worth...

Instead of staying with relatives on a recent trip to Orillia we decided to try a B&B that was close to my family and not far from the casino. We did not know what to expect and were a bit nervous at the prospect of staying in someone's house. Molly and Leslie warmly greeted us and showed us to our...

Writing a review of this beautiful B&B "Brasscrane" on the shores of lake Simcoe is indeed an honour. On arrival at the door of our scheduled check in time , we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a broad and affectionate smile by the hostess who apart from putting us at ease made us feel like visiting family as opposed...

I was extremely disappointed this weekend. My wife and I were heading to Orillia for her birthday. Booked a room at the Brasscranes on Bookit.com, we arrived to find no answer at the B&B. There was a note on the door from another person that had arrived 4 hours earlier to find the same result. I left two messages on...

I was looking for a quiet clean place away from the hustle and bustle of living in downtown toronto. I was pleasantly surpried. The hosts were super friendly. Made me feel like a part of their family. The deck was soo peaceful and breathtaking. I had a wonderful time I would return in an instant. A little piece of paradise.

Having a few extra days before attending a wedding in Toronto and flying in from Amsterdam, we chose after landing in the evening to drive for a few hours and see where we'd end up. some preparetions were made by selecting a few possible places to stay on our way up to the lakes, brasscranes was one of them. I...

The hosts are a delightfulfully interesting couple willing to share so many of their exciting world travelling experiences. The house is like being in a fabulous museum with the most wonderful artifacts. Each room has a theme that transports one to another place! Breakfast was like dining in a fine hotel! We will certainly go back there again if the...
