We were booked to stay at the Manoir Le Tricorne in August of this year, but 4 days before we were to book in, we received a call that an immediate family member had passed away unexpectedly. We made the calls to the two hotels to cancel the reservations. The first hotel had no problem cancelling the reservation, but the... More

We stayed at the Manoir Tricorne for six days in August. We wanted to explore Quebec--Montreal, Quebec city, and the countryside without having to change hotels nightly. This was a perfect location for day trips to the cities, relaxing at a nearby spa one afternoon, renting bikes in Sherbrooke for relaxing rides on the bikeway between Sherbrooke and North Hatley,... This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Manoir Tricorne and in the La Massawippi suite. The B&B and its grounds are incredibly lovely, and the proprietors are helpful, friendly, and fluent in French and English. They offer a mouth-watering home-cooked breakfast every morning (e.g., eggs Benedict one day, waffles with fruit and cream another day,... More

Overall it was a pleasant stay. We were disappointed that it was so far from town, having never been to North Hatley. Spontaneous trip to the area for an overnight. The original plan was to stay at the well known resort up the road, but it was fully booked. With this in mind (plan was to stay in a fully... More

Superb place for a rest on a tiring trip. What makes this wonderful manoir so inviting is its location -- expansive views, quiet and relaxing, close but away from the hustle-bustle on North Hatley in high summer. Fine furnishings. The management was very helpful in organizing adjoining rooms for our party to accommodate a baby.m

We arrived at Le Tricorne after a long drive through occasional thundershowers. The sun appeared as we pulled into the North Hatley region. We were greeted by a very charming and helpful innkeeper, Nicole. She made us feel most welcome. She made a reservation for our dinner later that evening in the village of North Hatley. Before dinner we enjoyed... More

The room was wonderful with our own balcony. (Personally, I wasn't fond of the room decor, but it suited the room, beautifully.) The breakfasts were delicious. Wonderful views from the room and the pool. Lucky to have stayed in mid September and the pool was still open and heated. Gorgeous, expansive private property.

We booked in to this hotel over a month ago. We were attending a family member's funeral and wanted a quiet refuge after. I emailed the same day of our arrival that we would likely be arriving later in the evening. I received an email back that they did not have a reservation for us. We ended up scrambling at... More

Nice spacious room with a distant view of the lake. Well-furnished and immaculately maintained. We found the service gracious and the breakfast excellent. The location is out of town, however, so that has to be what you want.
