The Hill Road Manor B&B is an older, stately home built during the development of the paper mill in Grand Falls. Located just up from the former mill, it housed the General Manager and his family. Many of the homes located around the Inn were also built to house the workers associated with this Company town. The old-time charm of...

My wife and I stopped at Hill Road Manor and we're greeted by Wilson the owner. After showing us the available rooms we decided to stay the night. The home is in immaculate shape and the hosts Wilson and his wife Joanne were excellent hosts. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was a great way to start...

This was my first experience of staying at a Bed and Breakfast and what a wonderful experience! Joanne and Wilson are absolutely lovely (and their dog Harley). Their home is gorgeous and the room we stayed in provided everything needed. My husband was pleasantly surprised that there was even a flat screen tv in the room. The bed was very...

What a lovely place this is. We found it through Trip Advisor as it wasn't on Trivago - nothing acceptable was on Trivago and we've look to TA for years for advice. So happy with this choice. We emailed them the night before, and received a quick reply. How nice is that? The owners, Joanne & Wilson are very personable,...

We arrived without a reservation. We were lucky to get the last room they had available. We stayed one night. Our room was comfortable but on the small side. Joanne and Wilson were very welcoming and accommodating. The property and the home were spotless. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit cocktail. Fresh omelette. Plenty of coffee. Toast and jams.

Joanne and Wilson are welcoming to their lovely home and provided a recommendation for a great spot for dinner within walking distance. Our large room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was tasty and filling. A great location to overnight mid-point across NFLD.

Lovely old Victorian home filled with antiques. Spacious bedrooms and a sitting room for guests. Joanne and Wilson were wonderful hosts, friendly, and helpful. Joane and Wilson were willing to go the extra mile to assist their guests. Gave us lots of tips for things to see on the next part of our trip. Absolutely Fantastic stay.

We spent two nights while on a motorcycle trip in Newfoundland. Wilson and Joanne were very welcoming. The rooms were charming and breakfasts were wonderful. Guests are able to cozy up in the living room to read. We have fond memories of Grand Falls - thanks very much!
