Fantastic camping and yurt glamping holidays in the sleepy Pembrokeshire countryside. Nestling in the hidden hamlet of Llanreithan, a few miles from St Davids, Ty Parke Farm Camping was set up to provide an alternative camping experience from the packed commercial sites that are all too common. We offer just 12 camping pitches on our 52 acre small-holding. Each pitch comes with a campfire and a picnic bench. We have great facilities too. And if you prefer camping with a little more comfort, we have three very comfortable yurts. Each yurt has a double beds, two single beds and a wood-burning stove. If you would like to stay in the school holidays, please book early because theses dates go very quickly. We hope to see you soon!

I thought that this was our 10th consecutive visit to Ty Parke but in actual fact it is our 11th! We stayed this year in the Dingley Dell premium camping pitch and it was FABULOUS! I try to leave a review every year and I feel I am running out of superlatives for this magical spot. Gary and Annie are the most welcoming yet unobtrusive of hosts and their whole approach to camping is to make it as comfortable and as fun as possible with the minimum of carbon footprint. Everything is provided with such thought and care but done with the lightest of touches which means it is such a relaxing place to come and stay. It’s so peaceful and quiet - with starry night skies overhead - Ty Parke is a little oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This place is very special indeed - as are the lovely folk who welcome us every year.

My wife and I have recently returned from Ty park farm and we both can honestly say it's the best campsite we've stayed at.just how a campsite should be (in my opinion) we had a pitch bigger than our back garden to ourselves with picnic bench, fire pit and water.Other people were also on the campsite but we only saw them when we went to wash up.The facilities were immaculate, with fridges,a freezer,2 free shower rooms with toilet,1 toilet and sink cubicle ,wash bath for wetsuits and plug in point for charging fones etc.Its possibly the first and only campsite I've stayed on where I haven't needed to sleep with earplugs in.We'll be back!!!

This year marked the 10th year that we have stayed at Ty Parke and although we were very sad to see the yurt pitches ‘go’ we absolutely loved the premium camping pitches that have replaced them! This year we stayed at Dragonfly (formerly Dingley Dell) which was new for us and it was just perfect in every way. Secluded, quiet, still and sheltered - with the most magnificent view of the night sky. Our youngest daughter had her bike with her which proved to be very handy for dashing up and down to the barn with freezer packs. As ever, we loved having our own compost toilet - clean, efficient, eco friendly - a room with a view! The gas shower on the pitch was a fantastic revelation and has been really thoughtfully planned and built so that you feel as if you are having an outside shower but a lovely toasty one at that. The shingle surround means the shower drains really well but there are lovely stone slabs to stand on which are clean and comfortable. To be honest, I think it’s a much nicer showering experience than being indoors! And last, but not least, the camp kitchen made those slightly cooler/damper mornings and evenings so much easier to manage from a cooking point of view. As ever, Gary and Annie made us feel so welcome and we were very happy to see that Bramble is maintaining patrol of the farm. It is a complete joy to return to every year and a great sadness to leave but we always have next year to look forward to. Ty Parke is a place to be treasured, and once visited it is hard to imagine staying anywhere else.

Perfect camping, as always everything spotless and so well organised. It is a joy to stay at this site, thank you Annie and Gary (and Bramble & Griff) for sharing such a beautiful place - and for the lovely pizza night too. There is so much to do in this area and the beaches (Newgale, Whitesands, Solva and more) are stunning. We enjoyed excellent meals at Grain and St Davids Gin & Kitchen, as well at at the Sloop Inn at Porthgain. This is such a good destination - we cannot recommend it highly enough.

We have just returned from four nights camping on the Woodpecker pitch and can honestly say this has been our best camping trip to date. We originally booked for three nights and decided to stay longer, which Gary and Annie very kindly accommodated. The secludedness of the pitches was a real treat and we were amazed that it was all ours! The facilities at Ty Parke are second to none - fridges with enough space for each group, lovely hot showers and bathrooms, washing machine and charging points. Chopping our own wood for our camp fire was an experience and made it part of the fun. The compost loo was handy too neat our pitch and always clean. We sat on our last evening with local Cider watching an Owl fly over the meadow which was a real treat. Gary recommended we try the Lamb and Mint burgers from the local farm shop a mile or so from the site and they did not disappoint. Will highly recommend this farm shop for any bits as it was really lovely. There is also a local Spar shop around 10 mins away. Thank you both again for the most wonderful stay and everything you have created at Ty Parke.

This is an amazing campsite. It's utterly beautiful, peaceful and extremely well managed which all makes for a very enjoyable holiday. Gary and Annie are lovely and go out of their way to be welcoming and helpful hosts. Everyone visiting over half term had been before; when you've discovered a site this good in such a stunning part of the country you really won't want to go elsewhere. The new gas showers at the yurts are fantastic!

Lovely campsite, we parked our camper van up in a beautiful secluded plot with easy access to the barn area. The barn houses two very clean family size bathrooms, lots of fridge space, washing machine and washing up sinks, there is also plenty of sockets for charging and using the hairdryer. The owners have a lot of respect for nature and work hard ensuring the site is well run. They sell local charcoal which is fabulous for cooking with. The area is lovely with lots of great beaches and walks, St David’s is small but worth a visit.

I think the fact that this is the 8th year on the trot that we have visited Ty Parke speaks for itself! Coming here for a week each summer is always a treat but this year it felt particularly special when there had been the real possibility of not visiting due to COVID-19. Gary and Annie gave us their usual wonderful warm welcome and had accommodated COVID-19 precautions brilliantly meaning we felt very safe and yet it all felt pretty 'normal' too - which we were all thankful for after such a very turbulent year. An addition to the yurt this year was an outdoor solar powered shower which I LOVED! Toasty warm and more than enough water for a shower it was great to be able to take our ablutions within the yurt pitch. The weather was a little mixed over the course of the week we were there with gales towards the end but we were secure and snug in Willow Bank yurt and it is just such a lovely space to spend time when not out and about that we all thoroughly relaxed. I honestly can't think of anything to improve the site although in their inimitable way Gary and Annie always think of lots of ways to enhance a stay without ever compromising the essence of the place; simplicity, tranquility, comfort, rest, relaxation and most important to us all this year - time with our loved ones. Thank you both so much.

I've stayed here several times over the years since maybe 2005 or so and seen it develop and grow. It is the best campsite I have ever stayed at and I have now enjoyed a yurt weekend too - this capped off my impressions. It is such a refined and well thought out place. It does have a lot of notes - a lot! - but it works because of the fine attention to detail and the simple fact that everyone who stays 'gets it' and enables it to work for everyone else. If I could keep it secret I would, believe me. Many other campsite operators should come here and see how it should be done!

There is something timeless and magical about this place and what Gary and Annie have created. The balance of comfort and simplicity have been perfectly met so that you really feel you are living in the outdoors secure in the knowledge that you will be cosy too! Lovely comfy bed, toasty woodburner, firepit perfect for just gazing at, starry night sky overhead, secluded compost loo with a spectacular view - and forecast of incoming weather - babbling brook, all the necessities provided in a camp kitchen, very well thought out approach to recycling, hot, hot showers in a spotless shower block, large fridge, large freezer with ice packs, wet suits to borrow, boogie boards to borrow, massive log pile to chop if you want, pizza night with Gary's expert pizza making advice and cooking - I could go on! However, I think the best testament to how marvellous this place is, is that our three children now aged 17, 15 and 14 looked completely horrified when we mentioned that maybe they might feel they've outgrown it. Not a chance. They adore the peace and tranquillity, rediscovering their joy of reading, drawing, writing, creating and epic exploring whilst at the yurt. And of course, the wonderful days out at the beach, surfing the waves at Whitesands and Porth Melgan, fish and chips on Fishguard Harbour, crab lining at Porth Clais, long walks along any part of the coastline (Dinas Head this year), beachcombing the estuary at Newport. This is the stuff that wonderful childhood memories are made of.
