Fantastic camping and yurt glamping holidays in the sleepy Pembrokeshire countryside. Nestling in the hidden hamlet of Llanreithan, a few miles from St Davids, Ty Parke Farm Camping was set up to provide an alternative camping experience from the packed commercial sites that are all too common. We offer just 12 camping pitches on our 52 acre small-holding. Each pitch comes with a campfire and a picnic bench. We have great facilities too. And if you prefer camping with a little more comfort, we have three very comfortable yurts. Each yurt has a double beds, two single beds and a wood-burning stove. If you would like to stay in the school holidays, please book early because theses dates go very quickly. We hope to see you soon!

Detailed Reviews
This year marked the 10th year that we have stayed at Ty Parke and although we were very sad to see the yurt pitches ‘go’ we absolutely loved the premium camping pitches that have replaced them!
This year we stayed at Dragonfly (formerly Dingley Dell) which was new for us and it was just perfect in every way. Secluded, quiet, still and sheltered - with the most magnificent view of the night sky. Our youngest daughter had her bike with her which proved to be very handy for dashing up and down to the barn with freezer packs.
As ever, we loved having our own compost toilet - clean, efficient, eco friendly - a room with a view! The gas shower on the pitch was a fantastic revelation and has been really thoughtfully planned and built so that you feel as if you are having an outside shower but a lovely toasty one at that. The shingle surround means the shower drains really well but there are lovely stone slabs to stand on which are clean and comfortable. To be honest, I think it’s a much nicer showering experience than being indoors! And last, but not least, the camp kitchen made those slightly cooler/damper mornings and evenings so much easier to manage from a cooking point of view.
As ever, Gary and Annie made us feel so welcome and we were very happy to see that Bramble is maintaining patrol of the farm. It is a complete joy to return to every year and a great sadness to leave but we always have next year to look forward to.
Ty Parke is a place to be treasured, and once visited it is hard to imagine staying anywhere else.

Gary and Annie were perfect hosts. I was quite late booking and Gary found space in the camping meadow.
On arrival Gary made himself available and showed us around. Earlier in the day he had emailed advising us of a planned pizza night and on request made sure that the dough which you can buy from them was available and defrost when we got there. That evening we joined Annie, Gary, and the other guests for a home cooked pizza.
The weather wasn’t great during our stay but there’s loads of covered space to cook and socialise. There’s a fridge for a few items and a freezer for ice packs. All of the facilities were spotless and reset each day.
We wish we had spent more time here.
If I could offer one feedback point it would be around the amount of signage. There are a few do’s and don’ts and whilst some of these are necessary to uphold the standards of the campsite and their accreditation to the Greener Camping Club a small handbook or a summary of these expectations might be better.
All in all a fantastic stay with brilliant hosts. Thanks to Gary and Annie this may be the best campsite in West Wales!

We have just returned from four nights camping on the Woodpecker pitch and can honestly say this has been our best camping trip to date. We originally booked for three nights and decided to stay longer, which Gary and Annie very kindly accommodated. The secludedness of the pitches was a real treat and we were amazed that it was all ours!
The facilities at Ty Parke are second to none - fridges with enough space for each group, lovely hot showers and bathrooms, washing machine and charging points. Chopping our own wood for our camp fire was an experience and made it part of the fun. The compost loo was handy too neat our pitch and always clean.
We sat on our last evening with local Cider watching an Owl fly over the meadow which was a real treat.
Gary recommended we try the Lamb and Mint burgers from the local farm shop a mile or so from the site and they did not disappoint. Will highly recommend this farm shop for any bits as it was really lovely. There is also a local Spar shop around 10 mins away.
Thank you both again for the most wonderful stay and everything you have created at Ty Parke.

I thought that this was our 10th consecutive visit to Ty Parke but in actual fact it is our 11th! We stayed this year in the Dingley Dell premium camping pitch and it was FABULOUS! I try to leave a review every year and I feel I am running out of superlatives for this magical spot. Gary and Annie are the most welcoming yet unobtrusive of hosts and their whole approach to camping is to make it as comfortable and as fun as possible with the minimum of carbon footprint. Everything is provided with such thought and care but done with the lightest of touches which means it is such a relaxing place to come and stay.
It’s so peaceful and quiet - with starry night skies overhead - Ty Parke is a little oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This place is very special indeed - as are the lovely folk who welcome us every year.

Lovely campsite, we parked our camper van up in a beautiful secluded plot with easy access to the barn area. The barn houses two very clean family size bathrooms, lots of fridge space, washing machine and washing up sinks, there is also plenty of sockets for charging and using the hairdryer. The owners have a lot of respect for nature and work hard ensuring the site is well run. They sell local charcoal which is fabulous for cooking with. The area is lovely with lots of great beaches and walks, St David’s is small but worth a visit.

Perfect camping, as always everything spotless and so well organised. It is a joy to stay at this site, thank you Annie and Gary (and Bramble & Griff) for sharing such a beautiful place - and for the lovely pizza night too.
There is so much to do in this area and the beaches (Newgale, Whitesands, Solva and more) are stunning. We enjoyed excellent meals at Grain and St Davids Gin & Kitchen, as well at at the Sloop Inn at Porthgain.
This is such a good destination - we cannot recommend it highly enough.

Loved it here! The site includes secluded pitches, which is what we chose, and the sense of space and tranquillity is fantastic. Yet, you're only minutes from the main site facilities too. These are clean and well maintained, but as always a little busy 'at rush hour'. Would recommend Ty Parke for families or couples looking to escape for a while.

This is an amazing campsite. It's utterly beautiful, peaceful and extremely well managed which all makes for a very enjoyable holiday. Gary and Annie are lovely and go out of their way to be welcoming and helpful hosts. Everyone visiting over half term had been before; when you've discovered a site this good in such a stunning part of the country you really won't want to go elsewhere.
The new gas showers at the yurts are fantastic!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Parke - we booked the Meadow Yurt - talk about luxurious camping! The best touch for me was the kitchen directly outside the yurt - it was so convenient and had everything you could have possibly needed. It also meant you could have dinner outside no matter what the weather. Gary was so helpful when we arrived showing us to our site with offerings of freshly chopped fire wood and a chili bin with ice packs! The indoor shared kitchen and bathroom faciliites were spotless and I liked the way the people who were camping there respected the property too. We cant wait to go back! Thanks Annie & Gary.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April, and were greeted with a very warm welcome from Gary. Having been given the option of what pitch we wanted, we opted for the most secluded. The pitch had unspoilt views and you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere - wild camping! It also came with its own picnic table and fire pit and grill which were nice and welcome touches. We found that this pitch was very windy as it was a tad open and this meant that cooking in the mornings took a while. However, the wind was very useful in the evening when using the fire pit to cook.
The campsite itself is very well run and instructions are laid out for all to see in the shower block/utility room. The shower block is clean and tidy, and whilst there are only 4 toilets and 2 showers we never really found ourselves waiting around. There are fridges where you can store food and drink, as long as your name is clearly written on them (which they provide the labels for.)
There is a barn for chopping your own wood, which is fun, but tiring and time consuming. You have a bucket which you can fill with as much as you like, just keep a record of how many you use and then they collect payment at the end. At the time we stayed there was also some free wood which we certainly made the most of.
The owners have a couple of dogs, which are very friendly, in particular Bramble...who likes to roll in the sawdust, much to the owners dislike! There is also one field with 4 rams in, we were assured that they were friendly, and to be honest they were but just very inquisitive and eager to escape at any opportunity...close the gates!
Our stay went very quickly and we didn't have much time to explore the surrounding area, although when we return to the area we would certainly stay here again, but perhaps for a bit longer to make the most of it.
We would definitely recommend this campsite...good location, not overcrowded, back to basics but with the necessities you require.
