Only room in Amherst on a dark and rainy night. Better than sleeping in the car but not a nice hotel. Needs a lot of TLC in every aspect even the towels thin and worn out. The dining room is closed by 9:00 am for breakfast. The room we were in needed air and had a stale smell. Check in... More

My husband checked us in while I waited in the car with our 2-year-old. He was directed to the back of the hotel to take the door closest to our room which was on the second floor, 30 degrees, with no air conditioning and no elevator. The maintenance person/people had left some discarded items outside the back door (old bed... More

Stayed here one night and it looked very old fashion the lights in the halls were mostly out and it look like a horror movie, the beds were springy I just thought it was very out dated and it would probably be a lot better if they did a few upgrades to brighten the place up abit I would recommend this... A motel that has seen far too many people without many updates. The rooms are large and check in was hassle free, but not too many other points in its favour. Everything looks very old and tired. Odd that they couldn't provide a drain plug for either the tub or sink. Also found it unusual that everything in the room was... More

This place was clean, but it was very worn out. We wondered how many places it had been before. The breakfast room was the highlight. It was bright and sunny with great windows. It was strange that it had outside doors and inside doors to a hallway. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

We went to this 'inn' after seeing an advert on the Internet advertising it and it's pool as I really wanted a swim. People say you shouldn't make up your mind on first expressions - however my impression was correct. Outside was shabby & dirty - so was the inside. The receptionist met us - she had holes in her... My company booked me at this hotel for July 1, 2016. When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by a friendly desk clerk and proceeded to go to my room. I noted on my way to the room that the halls etc were very dated. When I opened the door to my room, my wife and I were... More

This is an easy place to get to, right off the Trans Canada Hwy, but it is pretty old and worn. Not dirty, just tired. The restaurant has nice windows, and the only waitress is cheery and helpful, but no one was eating there. We had burgers, which were ok. The very nice lady at the front desk was apparently... More

The hotel is very convenient and comfortable but everything looks old and worn. The room was clean and bed comfortable. We had a double bed for 2 of us which was smaller than what usual hotels offer. The wall paper, bathroom fixtures and everything about the hotel appeared worn and old looking, yet functional. The free breakfast was okay with... More

I booked a room for the night of a Christmas party in town. Our room stank like stale smoke and the whole place was dirty. I instantly regretted booking this hotel. The decor is out dated and worn, the pool looks disgusting I would t even go into the pool room. Will never book there again.
