Luxuriously appointed guest suites, food from local organic produce wherever possible and our Gold Award Spring water compliment the unique, pristine valley setting of 300 acres surrounded by the forests and mountains of the Wells Gray Park. Sit on your balcony, breath in the fresh clear air and listen to the silence - only interrupted by the sounds of the birds and animals and the distant tumbling of the waterfall across the valley as it falls from Battle mountain to the creek.Heritage Cottage for 2 - 4 also available!

We made a road trip by car through western Canada in september 2023. We stayed at Clearwater Springs Ranch in the bear room for 3 nights. We were very warmly welcomed by Tania and Kurt upon arrival. Tania commented a very useful map for us with info on interesting places in the national park. The ranch is perfectly located for day trips into the park. We followed her recommendations and found every place very nice and interesting. Go for it! We had the most enjoyable stay there. The room was beautifully furnitured and decorated very lovely. The bathroom was huge. We could enter the huge balccony/ terrace from our room. The view on the grounds is stunning, comparable to an african lodge with a view to a water place. We enjoyed this view from the common sitting room with the fireplace that was fired up for the guests every afternoon. You also find coffee and tee and famous lotis cookies in the afternoon :) We learned a lot about life or interesting places in Canada by Tania and Kurt and had good fun. They cooked a fabulous dinner for the guests every night and we enjoyed to have dinner with everyone at the large table. We also enjoyed cooked breakfast and you could wish every day what to have, all self prepared. Tania and Kurt offered every morning a different specialty- feshly baked belgian waffles, freshly baked sultana loaf etc. Delicious! Overall we had an unforgettable stay at Clearwater Springs Ranch. Thank you Tania and Kurt!…

Thank you for your lovely review of our home. If peace and quiet are what you are looking for, this is the place 2B. We like to offer our guests a pleasant homestyle stay—being part of our family for the time being. A home away from home. Wells Gray Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers, and this waterfall park is not as crowded as the Rockies. After a day of exploring, we welcome our guests to our dinner table for the family dinner. There, we all enjoy the food and the stories of the day.

We had a great time at the lodge. We loved staying in the Bear room which had its own section of the rear balcony. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and interaction with the other guests and the hosts.. We had one evening meal at the lodge which was very tasty. Tania and Kurt are very friendly and helpful hosts. They provide a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. The lodge is 3km from the main road into Wells Grey and is very quiet. We even saw a bear in the meadow, albeit rather far away for a photo. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thanks for a great stay. Sally and David

This was our second stay at Clearwater Springs Ranch and we will be returning. As more and more people go to Banff/Jasper and Vancouver, Wells Gray Park becomes more appealing. Clearwater Springs Ranch is a very well maintained Red Cedar Log Cabin situated on 300 acres, located 3 km from the two lane track. The rooms are very large, extremely quiet and comfortable. The building sits above large meadows resulting in excellent views including deer and bear which we have seen during both visits. Three sets of binoculars and a spotting scope are left in the common room for guests to use. We were advised to check the stars after dark and it was unbelievable, the big dipper was just outside our window. Kurt & Tanya are excellent hosts. Breakfasts are excellent and you make your breakfast choice the night before. Evening meals are available if planned in advance and we would highly recommend. Guests sit at a large farmers table in the big kitchen. The food is very good and the conversation among guests is interesting. In addition to the three rooms in the main cabin, Clearwater Springs Ranch has a well preserved heritage cabin located 150 yd from the main house. Guests are able to cook in the cabin as meals are not served if you choose to stay in the cabin. Kurt & Tanya are very knowledgeable about the area. When combined with a quick stop at the visitors center, you are well advised on what do to and see. Wells Gray Park is less travelled and we like it that way. There is a lot to see and do. We will be staying longer during our next visit.…

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review. We like to go the extra mile to give our guests a wonderful stay at our home. As you noted, Wells Gray Park is, for many of our guests, "The Canada that they imagined." There are no big crowds or trail reservations needed; just enjoying the unspoiled wilderness. Mid-September is the perfect time to spot the leaping salmon in the park and enjoy the Fall colours. We look forward to seeing you guys again and wish you all the best.

My husband and I spent a week with Tania and Kurt at their B&B. The room was large, clean quiet and enjoyable. The house is amazing. With over 5000 square feet to roam around in. The breakfasts were delicious. We paid to have 4 dinners with them and the food was amazing. The desserts soothed my sweat tooth. The house is located in the middle of Wells Gray Provincial Park so you can get to your hike, water falls, boat trips or rapids expedition easily. Tania and Kurt were very friendly and made us feel welcome in their home. They were also very attentive to our needs. We travelled from Fort McMurray, Alberta to Clear Water, BC and preferred the B&B experience to a hotel. Thanks to Kurt and Tania for making our holiday special.

This accommodation is everything one could wish for and more! The positivity started as soon as we arrived when we got greeted by hosts Tania & Kurt and their adorable dog Maple :) We walked into the house and were amazed by how beautifully decorated it was. It was super cozy and made you feel at home. We stayed in the Moose room which as perfect for us (a family of 4). Kurt and Tania did a wonderful job with this B&B! Breakfast and dinner were by far our favourite moments of the day! It was time well spent with the hosts and the other guests staying at the accommodation with delicious home made food and a lot of fun. They know the area very well and can tell you anything about the wildlife or things to do during the day. It's truly a hidden gem located in the peaceful nature of Wells Gray Park filled with life and laughter. Our stay here became one of the highlights of our trip in Canada! Definitely worth going here! - family Giovinazzo…

As returning guests for 3 years in a row, we can truly say we have loved our visits. The view is stunning, the surroundings are peaceful, and there is lots to do in the near by Wells Gray Park. The stay itself is very comfortable, with the most amazing hosts. The food is delicious and everything is homemade. We will continue to go back every year that we can.
