The ranch is located 30 minutes north of Clearwater and provides an excellent location to visit the Wells Gray Provincial Park and is beautifully quiet and peaceful. The rooms are relatively basic, but functional. We stayed in the main part of the lodge and you can hear some noise of the guests in the other rooms when getting up in... More

Overpriced Noisy squirrels in attic throughout the night eating wires lights didnt work, no daily cleaning of room, towels and sheets. Rough nubby sheets on bed, barking dogs through the 3 nights stay. Dirty ground entrance. Breakfast charge $20 each. Bad marked entrance to property poor lighting to see at night down long long dark road. $175 charge for room... More

A lovely location right in the heart of Wells Park to reach all the key sights. Cabin lovely with a nice view and feel. But WiFi is not workable in the cabin and only in the main lodge. They do service dinner though this is not on our website. 30mins from any other options so went with the dinner. Served... More

This ranch is really quite and relaxing. Wonderful landscape. Nice people are managing this ranch. The room was big and comfortable. Wi fi is included but not high speed. But I agree with what owners think. In a so beautiful nature you can forget for some days your internet devices. Clenliness can be improved. We had a nice dinner outside... More

Owner was friendly, a man of few words but that was not a problem at all. We had diner here, and thought it was really good, perhaps the price was a bit high but hey, you're having a barbecue in a provincial park surrounded by mountains, amazing views and good food (and wine!). Our room (#2) was big and comfortable,... More

We stayed at the Ranch with our 2 Kids and liked it a lot! Cabins are really nice, food is great too. As is the Atmosphäre. Lars is a very nice host. Horseback riding was surely one of the highlights of our trip.

Beautiful location in Wells-Grey BC (even in the rain). Superb food prepared by host with generous family style helpings. Hosts are the owners so they put their personal touch on everything. Rustic, off the beaten path, but generally clean, relaxing, inviting. Internet if you need it.

Nakiska Ranch is a wonderful secluded spot to base an exploration of the local area from. Family style dinner/breakfast served daily with a chance to compare notes with other visitors. Lovely. Meet the dogs, the cows and horses on a stroll about. A wonderful experience.

No personal gripes against the host who was very nice and the place overall has the makings of a lovely 'ranch.' But whilst this place may have been in its prime in 2003 (as the awards indicate inside the main building), it is looking extremely tired in 2016. The land around the property is beautiful but very poorly maintained. Everything... More
