This was our 5th time at Star Lake and once again would for sure go back next year. Even though we had a couple of rainy days and a couple of smoky days from the fires in BC, we still had a great time. This time we took my 13 and 5 year old granddaughters, who both loved it. The 13 year old loved the fishing and outdoor atmosphere and the 5 year old loved the fairy garden and playing in the sand on the beach, especially being serenaded by Jerry with his guitar while he sang Baby Beluga and folk songs, TY Jerry!!! Joan and Jerry kept us posted with weather reports etc and visited with us. The peace and quiet is always welcome with nothing but the sound of the loons, other birds and the fish jumping. The chipmunks and hummingbirds are always fun to watch. Cabins are clean and equipped with the essentials, running hot and cold water, propane stove and fridge as well as bathroom facilities. Wood burning stove is there if necessary, we didn't need to use it this time. This resort is family orientated, which makes this a perfect place to take your kids. Peace and quiet for couples as well... if you are going as a couple Cabin 2 is perfect!!!

It was our first trip there but certainty not the last. Breath taking views, amazing service and just super friendly people. Felt like hanging with friends for a week. Can't wait to return! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. We drove 10 hours and it was well worth it. The town of Clearwater is great as well, but you could easily never leave star lake.

This was not our first (nor last) time to Clearwater and I am glad we could find another gem for our stay. This campground has some lovely cabins right at a lake and makes for the perfect getaway! The cabin we stayed in (Nr. 5) was fully equipped and we were not missing power at all. There's a gas fridge and propane lights as well as a firepit out front. The place if out of reach for cell phones and internet, which made for a quiet weekend :) All the towns amenities as well as Wells Gray Park are within 15-20 minutes drive. Joan and Jerry were the perfect hosts! Highly recommended!
