Had a great weekend here with family to celebrate a birthday. 10 adults and 8 children. The house is fantastic and very well equipped to cater for large groups. The extra fridge in the living room was great for drinks. Loads of games and puzzles to use, and the snooker/ping pong

16 of us - a mixture of adults and kids - had a brilliant stay at Stationmasters Lodge over new year. The views of the loch are gorgeous and ever-changing - even from in the water (yes, we swam!! Well, shoulders under! The neighbours thought we were insane!) The house was

Stayed here on a three day Highlands tour and miss it so much. I'd never felt at home so easily somewhere else before. The fire and lounge room is lovely with many activities and the views from the rooms are stunning. Keep in mind to bring own food, but it's well worth it for

We were 15 people - all part of an extended family - on holiday together. The loch is literally at the end of the small garden which was perfect for swimming, kayaking and sailing. The house was really practical and comfortable. The huge living/dining room was the focal point

"I would use any room...all very pleasant."

"all are the same ie perfectly acceptable"
"Tips & Tricks: Bring some things to cook! Try asking around the butchery and seeing if they have local dishes for you to try your hand at and spend some time in the kitchen. There aren't any good take-out places nearby but that's sort of the point isn't it? The hostel is quite clean, didn't even have to unroll a sleeping bag. There is a window to the left of the fireplace in the living room with a tartan cushion. This is the perfect place to watch the sun come up and spot some otters without having to leave the warmth of indoors. Ask them to strike up a bonfire! Don't spend all of your time on you computer! Yes they have wifi but they also have miles of hiking trails and great Scottish hospitality, take advantage!"
