One night stay with the good lady. We was in Banchory for the fireworks display. Lovely wee place, room was nice, clean and had the luxury of a bath (which the good lady took advantage of after being out in the rain half the night). Check in was quick. Breakfast was nice, which plenty on offer, lovely view of the... More

Good welcome on my arrival. Efficient check-in and check-out. Although restaurant closed for the winter, bar food was available and good. freshly cooked breakfast served in the restaurant with good views over the Deeside hills. Only downside was the bathroom was not tidied or re-stocked with toiletries. Does have the atmosphere of a pub with rooms. Would certainly visit again,... More

The Feughside Inn offers standard bed and breakfast accommodation, the rooms are clean, reasonably well appointed, and the bed was comfortable, and there was a good choice on offer at breakfast (breakfast staff efficient and helpful). Thankfully we had been moved to a room that was en suite as had not realised when booking that we had booked a room... More

We stopped at Feughside Inn for a night on our way into the Cairngorms. The room was very clean and perfect for our needs. The owners were friendly and the food was fine, it had a nice atmospehere for a quiet drink and food after a long drive. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and service was good.

I am not sure whether you are allowed to criticise a place for not being as good as you expected it to be..but I did expect more of an idyllic riverside location in beautiful rural Aberdeenshire for £75 a night. This is a 'pub with rooms' that needs money spending on it. If it looked better, it could attract the... More

We decided to sit outside to enjoy drinks and meal in the sun. The experience was spoiled by very drunk customers (should bar staff stop serving if someone is so drunk they can hardly stand??). During our meal the group of very drunk men cursed and seemed to think it was funny to pass wind very loudly. This was all... More

Visited with partner and parents when seeing a show at the nearby barn. Staff were great and very welcoming, rooms clean and inviting. Offered a good selection for breakfast, lovely black pudding! Served with an excellent view. The only downfall was our bedroom being upstairs the bathroom was downstairs with no dressing gowns provided.

Thank you for your nice review and I am delighted you enjoyed your stay. I would like to apologise, we do have lovely fluffy dressing gowns which are hanging in the wardrobe but obviously our housekeeping staff have slipped up on this occasion and not remembered to put them in your wardrobe. Sorry ! More

We have just spent a weekend at a family gathering on Speyside. Some time off allowed us to enjoy a night's break on our way from home near St Andrews as we headed to the Highland Games at Nethy Bridge. My wife grew up in Finzean near Banchory - so we looked at a night near her old home. We... More
