We expected a hotel outside the village and in the hills but is lies close to the centre. So, lot of traffic noise, barking dogs and smog. Staff in general looks more interested in eachother than in its customers. At breakfast we had to wait to get coffee as a customer. Wifi does not work in the rooms in the... More

A group of 9 friends stayed in Hotel Patagonia Insular during the month of February 2015. We were impressed with the excellent service, clean rooms and incredible fast laundry service. The manager went out of his way to be sure that we had wi-fi connections and helped us to get a box lunch to take with us during one of... More

This hotel is located in Quellon, a small city where the Panamerican highway ends. All rooms have excellent view of volcanoes, fishing boats and water. We relaxed after a very long day of driving with a glass of wine at the bar and had dinner. Food is very good and service excellent. Nothing to complain about. I recommend this place... More

This hotel has only see facing rooms, and when you are in Quellon, that means little fishing boats and snow-capped volcanos in the background. The rooms are "Ok", but the service is very friendly. A nice bar and very good restaurant complete this very nice hotel in Chiloe.

We booked a special offer for 2 nights and we could not have been happier about it. The hotel is pretty standard with nice and clean rooms and a lovely view onto the harbour of Quellón. There is no mini-bar or fridge in the room but that was no real problem for us. The restaurant serves really good food compared... More

I wouldn't even be writing a review about such an ordinary hotel as this, except that I was misled by the Lonely Planet review calling it a 4-star hotel. And some of the reviews below written a few years ago describe a hotel I don't recognize. This is not 4-star hotel. This is a basic hotel with an attractive bar... More

I tried to get in contact with the hotel several times without receiving one single response. I tried to communicate in Spanish as well as in English, nothing. I even asked someone to write my questions I had in perfect Spanish, still no answer from the hotel. This is not the way a hotel should deal with a potential client... More

We arrives at one in the morning, drenched after a longish ride from Inio, and it was pure heaven. Clean hot shower. Warm soft bed. After trekking Tantauco, you'll love it. Excelent breakfast. Service is oustanding. Lissette really frindly.

We were the only guests in the entire hotel the two nights we stayed here. Great choice for Quellon -- only negative comment would be the breakfast choices. Of all the hotels we have stayed in in Chile, this was the weakest breakfast in terms of choices. Packaged coffee -- a no no for coffee drinkers, but hotel ws modern... More

We have traveled extensively through Southern Chile and Chiloé. We have stayed many times in Ancud and Castro, but this was our fist stay in Quellón. This is clearly the finest hotel on the island, although Quellón is at the southern tip. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and prices...
