Chris and Maria were wonderful to stay with. Breakfast was wonderful and the hospitality unmatched. The hiking was great and local tips from Chris and Maria were excellent. We would love to visit them again and will advise our friends of this hidden gem in North Wales.

This is a hidden gem Up a windy road to reach this B&B with views to die for. Maria greeted us and showed us into her house . Warm, welcoming, spotlessly clean .Although our Retro room did not have the best of the views it was spacious and had a large en-suite with bath. The bed was very comfy with plump pillows....

If you are lucky enough (as we were) to get clear skies, the views from the beautiful garden into the valleys below and beyond are spectacular. Chris and Maria encourage you to use all their facilities and do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is brilliant and all freshly cooked and the rooms are tastefully...

Arrived home and I just had to write a review on this beautiful Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Upon arrival we was greeted by a lovely warm host Maria who gave us a brief introduction about the house and certain things to do or visit around the area. The rooms are pleasantly clean and fairly spacious, and because it is situated...

Loved this Guest House. View was wonderful. The house was set in beautiful grounds. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had! I would recommend this for a quiet getaway anytime.

This lovely small hotel /B and B is ,to coin a phrase, the real deal. Beautifully restored, the attentive owners have maintained the aged country house atmosphere whilst at the same time introducing modern classic stylish quality interiors. It works. The rooms are all individually designed, we stayed in the Loft room. It was luxurious and comfortable. It was welcoming and...

Thank you so very much for your generous words, we did blush when reading this! We absolutely love our house and get real pleasure sharing with people. It's age and location really set the stage for calm and relaxation. An important part of a relaxing stay is breakfast. We prepare breakfasts from fresh to order. Whilst this takes a little...

Maria was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome at Tan-y-Foel. The guest house is a perfect base for hill-walking and exploring North Wales, being a few minutes from Betws-y-Coed and offering amazing views over Snowdonia. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the delicious breakfast set us up for a day in the hills. Will be...

Just back from a weekend break. Maria was lovely, naturally friendly and welcoming. The house itself is in a stunning location with fabulous views across the valley and only 5 minutes from Betws Y Coed. All rooms are exquisitely decorated. We had the French Room which features perhaps the best 'view from the loo' and a excellent bath and shower....

David, we have corresponded since your stay, but we just wanted to say once again, how happy we are that you enjoyed your time here. Helen, We are always very happy that people enjoy their stay here. So many are surprised that we are just a few minutes by car from Betws-Y-Coed and Llanrwst, yet it can sometimes feel as though we are in a different world.
