An unexpected overnight on a ferry flight. The hotel is convenient to the airport (we had a ride from the private terminal) and is a little pricey, but way better than the other hotel we stayed at on a ferry flight a month earlier (revie written for them also). Free Wifi and no BS like the other place and recently...

For one of the most expensive restaurant in town, I found the food is as ok. I had the baked char dish and the fish was dry. I am sure it's a beautiful hotel, so it's something to experience once while in Iqaluit

Recently renovated , The Discovery Boutique Hotel is without a doubt the premier hotel in Iqaluit. Well appointed, clean professionally staffed with all the amenities you could ask for. Comfortable beds and indirect lighting make the room an oasis after a hard day or work or travel.

The staff are very friendly and grateful for your business, this hotel is clean and comfy. Although a bit pricey, my charge was 235.00 cad per nite. The relaxing room made up for it. Rooms are large , curtains black out the light. Unfortunately it's location is right across from a condemned hotel the navigator. But you have to remember...

I had an excellent experience at the Discovery. The rooms were very well decorated and made superb use of space. Almost like the "W" - but without the music playing when you arrive! Staff were very professional and helpful.

I have stayed here several night over the last few years and you could only wish you could find rooms like this in the city. Absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spotless and the hotel has an incredible restaurant. It's a must stay when you travel to Iqaluit. It's close to the Airport, short walk but they have a shuttle when...

Was my first time solo in a hotel. Felt very clean and safe! Bed was comfy and room was much nicer than i was expecting. I had breakfast at the hotel. Unfortunately they weren't serving hot breakfast when i was there but i did enjoy a nice croissant and some fruit!

This place was great. Just felt like a boutique hotel down south of 60 degrees. Shuttle from the airport was great especially for later flights. Even took me to the airport the following day to check in and drop off my bags, then brought me back to the hotel. Room was really well appointed and clean (not all northern hotels...

True to their promise when I first made reservations months ago, I was able to cancel the stay on my outbound layover with no questions asked. Just need to tell them before the day I had reserved. I guess they are used to the flight delays and schedule changes in the north. While the hotel exterior is an unassuming brown...

We stayed in the Discovery Hotel twice travelling back and forth from Baffin Island. Four of us were supposed to fly through Iqualuit to Baffin Island for a trekking trip, but arctic fog in Qiq and wind in Pangnirtung kept resulting in flight cancellations and rebooking for two days. The staff was helpful and friendly as we checked in and...
