At first I was surprised at how isolated this location truly is. However, that is part of the charm… No traffic noise, beautiful scenery and a very well appointed Inn. Elizabeth and Keith are such warm people and we shared a few laughs. The breakfast was both days!! Elizabeth was cooking and Keith was serving. Fresh fruit and French toast...

The inn is located well outside of Inverness, and a drive from any restaurants. If you want quiet isolation, this may be for you. The Inn itself is well cared for and VERY clean. Our room was comfortable, large and nicely furnished. We especially appreciated the breakfast, since the option would have been to drive back to town. The strawberry...

Elizabeth and Keith were here to greet us, charming couple and it is a lovely home they have put their heart and soul into. The room was clean and modern and comfortable. Breakfast was just the right size for when you are travelling.

This place is not easy to find, even with GPS assistance. We did not find the female owner very welcoming. The male owner was acceptably friendly. The website lists an attractive Dinner Menu, but when we enquired en route, about dinner, having booked our room several days previously, we were informed that dinner was not being served that evening. Being...

The Tulloch Inn is really what I would call a Bed and Breakfast. I have never stayed in one (prior to this) I have never had a desire to, either. That said, the owners were cordial and a pleasure to talk to. My wife, adult daughter and I arrived after dark and had some problem finding the entrance (it is...

We were booked to stay at the Tulloch Inn near Inverness NS. We were driving and entered the address into our GPS. Three dirt roads later (riddled with pot holes) we figured we were good and lost. We called the inn and were chastised for not getting the "correct directions" and basically were told to find accommodations elsewhere. Clearly the...

First the quirks - make sure you have the exact location/directions. This is a remote location and it is set well back from the road. Also, I like scent free premises, but I don't recall this policy being advertised. I also like firm beds, and in the MacDonald room at least, the bed is very firm. Lastly, no choice of...

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Tulloch Inn! Very clean, well-appointed room. Bright and fresh, with a gorgeous view of the gardens and lake. We both found the bed to be super firm, but that is a matter of taste. The owner was friendly and we enjoyed our chats with him during our delicious breakfast. We would stay...

We stayed on a snowy weekend getaway and couldn't have asked for more. We were in a suite overlooking the lake which was lovely and very comfortable. It was so peaceful and quiet. The evening meals were outstanding in the diningroom, as were the breakfasts. Unlike some other reviews, we found the hosts to be very friendly and welcoming. We...

We made a last minute reservation at the Tulloch Inn when we were in Inverness. It is approximately 15 minutes away from Inverness, but well worth the drive. We stayed in one of the king size rooms facing Lake Ainslie and it was amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. We were served a warm breakfast accompanied by home...
