Our stay in the oceanfront housekeeping cottages at this excellently managed beach village was the highlight of our 8 day tour of Cape Breton. The cottages are roomy, clean, and outfitted with generous-sized porches--the latter perfect for taking in the stunning scenery. There is also private access to Inverness Beach which, during our stay in early September, was populated primarily... More

The beach village is the most charming cottage resort you can hope to discover that is directly on the beach!!! You can hear the waves crashing at all times and the view is breathtaking! The beach is super long and often almost empty so you will feel like you own it. The cottages are basic but clean and tidy with... More

My family has a reunion every 5 years and we have been staying at the Beach Village since I was little. Over the years I have grown to love the village. Simple and satisfying. Looking forward to returning in 2016!

I have 20+ years of memories of summers spent on Inverness Beach, specifically at Inverness Beach Village. I recommended it to everyone with ears. Unfortunately, I will never be back. There are several reasons: 1. They stopped allowing dogs. My dog is sweet and friendly and we are responsible owners who clean up after her and keep her close. We... More

Stayed in a cottage for two nights while travelling through PEI and NS. Oceanfront property and views with tennis courts, playground, and beach withing walking distance. All cottages have kitchenette, living room/sitting/dining area and no air conditioning. WiFi available but not full coverage over the whole property.

We stayed here last August and though the cabin we were in was older and not very modern it was fine for a night. If I were to stay here again I would book a waterfront cottage to have easier beach access. Worth the stay just to see the incredible sunset!

We go with the kinsmen every year and their families. Kids all have a big common yard area to play safely in. The view and beach are amazing. Nearby stores and bike trails. Campfires each night..Always a great time. Cottages are great, could just use air conditioning and microwave but still good without them. Good value too.

The cottages are very cute, they are very clean and they have everything one needs. They are also overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. Very friendly serviced. I highly recommend!!!

We did not book a third night on the Cabot Trail, but stopped at Inverness Beach Village to try our luck because it was getting late and we still had many hours drive home. They had a cottage available, but the front desk attendant told us that they are no longer pet friendly, even though they are advertised as such... More
