Perched on a panoramic corner of the Amalfi coast, overlooking both the typical terraced hillside cultivated with lemons and the beautiful Amalfi's bay, "Al pesce d'oro" B&B welcomes its guests with discreet and family hospitality, ensuring their relaxation. Recently tastefully refurbished, the furniture has the typical features of the Mediterranean architecture, such as maiolica tiles from Vietri, wooden furniture, antique frames and wrought iron headboards; they are equipped with all modern comfort, independent access, private terrace with sea view and private parking. "Al pesce d'oro" restaurant, runs by the same owners, is located a very short distance from the B&B. Here you can enjoy typical dishes of culinary tradition of the Campania region, delicious pizza and sip fragrant local wines.

My wife and I stayed at B&B Al Pesce D’Oro for four nights. It was a fantastic experience. There is a bus stop right outside so it is well connected to Amalfi, Praiano and Positano. We had dinners, tours and excursions to Ravello, Capri, Amalfi and Positano and got around easily from here.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping us with bus tickets, recommendations for excursions and Alessio even very kindly drove us back to Amalfi at the end of our stay when we missed the bus (our fault!). The cleaning staff did a great job, and the breakfast that is delivered to your room each morning was wonderful, filled with all the Italian classics; cornetto, cappuccino, home made lemon cake, and can be complimented with an omelette, salami, bocconcini, tomato and toast if you like.

The view from the terrace is incredible and the rooms are light filled and spacey.

On our first day we had lunch in the restaurant which was tasty. Well done to the team!

Our first stay in Amalfi was brilliant! The hotel is arround 20 minutes by feet to Amalfi reachable. After just 15 minutes walk there is one of the nicest beaches we have ever seen! Breakfast was served directly to the room, we enjoyed a very good breakfast with a brilliant direct view to the sea.
The staff was friendly and nice especially Alessio & Giovanna thank you for all the nice recommendations. We will never forget this holiday! Kind regards from Isabella & Marijan.

The B&B is not centrally located and is up quite high off the coast however this just meant exceptional views. Additionally there is a bus stop right beside the B&B which is very cheap and quite frequent with the drive down about 10 minute's so I would not let the height or distance away deter you. The staff were amazing, always available and extremely helpful with anything we needed. We had a balcony which meant we got breakfast served to our room every morning to enjoy with the wonderful views. The food itself was fairly standard but there was plenty to eat which filled us up for the day. We would definitely recommend

Stay at this great little B&B. Room was top middle and had a breathtaking view. Recently remodeled and was super clean. Right on main road and they had free parking. Breakfast was homemade and included, ate every morning on our balcony. The reasturant was still closed due to Covid but they said it would be opening soon. It's on the main road but was not noisy at all. We did walk it into Almalfi but it took 35min and taxi back was 25euro. Buses were not up to running all time slots. Overall would recommend this very romantic location and the Family that operates it treats you like their Family.

My friend and I could not have been any happier with our a stay and would definitely come back. We stayed here our first two nights on the Amalfi coast and everyone was extremely warm and welcoming. You will love the attached restaurant as well as the incredible, private breakfast spread they leave outside your door at your requested breakfast time. Not to mention the beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Oh and a private parking lot next to the hotel made things a lot easier as well. 5 stars!

When you arrive at the restaurant start with a lemon spritz! It is a refreshing twist of a drink. All the food is locally sourced and served fresh, (I recommend the oysters, they are worth the hype) by their very helpful staff. Be sure to reserve your table. You don't want to miss this gem!

We just left Al Pesce D'oro Bed & Breakfast. It was our first time on the Amalfi coast and spent quite a bit of time doing our research and trying to find a cute place that offered some amenities, but that also seemed to be centrally located. I'm so glad that we found Al Pesce D'oro.

We rented a car on our way out of Rome. I know, I know... why would we do that? The answer is because we're in Italy for a month - now in Tuscany. The only way to do our journey with a month's worth of luggage and experiences is to rent a car. However, on the Amalfi coast, you don't want to really be driving. It's insanity and by the way, there is no place to park your car.

The Al Pesce D'oro B&B offered a private parking lot which was a tremendous stress relief. We only tried to remove our car once on our first trip to the town of Amalfi (10 minutes away) and it was nearly impossible to park. We did find an open spot but we returned to the car to find out it had been towed. The operator, Alessio, at the B&B helped us call the local tow company and get our car back. it stayed in the lot thereafter and we used the busses and sea ferry's to go back to and forth from Positano to Amalfi and into Conca Dei Marini.

The bed and breakfast itself was really clean, and the staff and people were so accommodating and nice. One person, in particular, Martina, was so pleasant and so cute. She helped us navigate many things and answered whenever we needed her. We would have just loved to spend some time with just her - she was so wonderful.

Our room had a private little balcony that hung over the sea. They brought breakfast to our room every morning and set it up on the balcony. They also had bus tickets at the office area of the business.

The restaurant below is known for its seafood dishes. We had a few really great meals there and the staff was equally wonderful. I really can't recommend this place enough. They also own a luxury villa that is available for rent higher up the hill I believe. This family can provide any experience you are looking for and its right in between the main town of interest on the Amalfi coast.

Very unprofessional business practice. Reservation made in December 28th 2021 for 3 nights. Ten months later and less than 2 weeks before our arrival they cancelled the reservation and said things change and this sometimes happens and sorry for inconvenience. We were already in Italy and had to scramble to find another place to stay. One thing to cancel but they had 10 moths to do so. Beware if you make a reservation here if you will actually have it when it is time.

We have no pleasure in canceling guest bookings, it is against our interest. We are forced to do this when a valid credit card is not provided to guarantee the reservation, it is also a question of respecting the work of others by providing the right guarantees. Then there is a procedure that lasts several days in which we ask more than once to replace the invalid card, only after 2 days in which we do not receive an answer do we have the possibility to cancel the reservation. Kind regards Alessio Civale

Room was superb and spotless. Thanks to Agatha, one of the employees there, for being so kind to us. She encouraged us to go to the lemon tree garden with spectacular views of the ocean to enjoy the perfect breakfast she had prepared. It was unforgettable. Agatha really made us feel so welcome. Maria at reception was also very responsive to our inquiries. This hotel went above and beyond. Thank you!

How can I get to the hotel from Salerno train station please?
Answer from Alessio C
Amalfi, Italy
From Salerno you can take the train to Amalfi (about every 30 minutes) or the ferryboats ( in my option the best solution because you won't find traffic and it's panoramic) Kind regards Alessio Civale
