If you like 5 star accommodation these lodges are for you. My Wife myself , my Sister and Brother in Law have visited the Lodges twice now, they are absolutely fantastic. Everything you would expect in a five star property and more. The fishing on the lake is in with the price and you can fish from your very own jetty. The area is perfect for exploring Northumberland and the border country. There is a pub about 10 minutes stroll away, selling good food and real ale if you like that. The Family who own the Lodges are very helpful and will help you with anything while your on your break here. We were here in December for my wife’s Birthday, the snow came down to ‘order’ it was so picturesque, and Julie recommended for us an excellent night out in Bellingham for a special Birthday at a nice Hotel. If you like tranquility in a great setting you will definitely not be disappointed.

Stayed here for a week and from start to finish it was perfect. We were in the only lodge where dogs are allowed which is very secluded and peaceful by the river. Host Kelly left us a super welcome hamper and didn't bother us but was on hand 24/7 should we need anything. Lodge very clean, fitted out to high standard together with private hot tub, sauna, games room and Scandinavian style bbq hut. Harry the heron flew in most days to see us! Plenty of local country walks. 15 minute walk to tradional village pub with friendly locals, good crack and good pub food, including take aways. Had a few day trips visiting places including Hadrians Wall, splendid Corbridge and within easy reach of all of Northumberland, including coast, and County Durham. This was perfect for our needs and yes 'we will be back'.

This place fully deserves all the five star reviews. Gorgeous tranquil and relaxing location, lots of wonderful wildlife around, beautiful lodges where they have thought of almost everything you could possibly need.
The only thing that I think could be vastly improved is the toaster! It was very small, 2 slice, even bread from a standard loaf wouldn't fit. It made breakfast time a bit of a hassle - trying to cater for 4 adults with a 2 slice toaster wasn't fun. It might sound a bit picky, but it seems a strange oversight when the owners have thought of everything else, and one that could so easily be improved.
Apart from that everything really is perfect.

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay in Drovers Lodge. I have never felt so relaxed on a holiday. The lodge was spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Extremely comfortable from the sofas to the super king sized beds.
There was a lovely welcome pack which included all essentials, milk, tea, coffee, eggs, bread, preserves, butter and a bottle of Prosecco.
The hot tub and sauna were such a treat, especially after playing golf and walking.
We ate at the Bay Horse a couple of times, but a good find was the Fountain cafe in Bellingham. They serve until 8pm on Thursdays-Saturdays
All in all a wonderful week, we can’t wait to rerun next August!

Return visit and just as good as the first. Stunning lodges in a stunning location. Plenty of fish were caught, time spent walking, looking at the lambs, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna and just chilling. Worked out perfect to book two lodges for the family, to have our own space and then get together for meals and drinks and pool matches! Ages ranged from 14 to 80 with something for everybody. Many thanks also to Kelly for giving me Louise's contact details for the massages and facials, this just added to the whole relaxing spa feeling of the lodges and Louise was so lovely. As Arnie says - we will be back!

The most amazing trip to Redewater Lodges. We stayed in the Ingram and couldn't recommend it enough! It was the most perfect cosy weekend away with fantastic facilities - we loved using the hot tub, sauna, pool table and outdoor BBQ. We were lucky for it to snow whilst we visited making it even more magical. 10/10!

We keep going back to Redewater Lakeside Lodges time after time.
Normally without any problems whatsoever.
Unfortunately this year, the heat pump which heats the hot water and provides heating for the lodge failed.
Wow! we saw how this place can react to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction.
After a quick call to report the fault, the management had within a few minutes arrived at our lodge to switch the hot water over to a standby immersion heater, and to supply alternative heaters should we need them. They called out a service technician who made a permanent fix within 24 hours of the fault occurring, all without disturbing our holiday enjoyment!
Thanks to all the team that run and work at Redewater Lodges, we had a great week celebrating my 60th birthday.
I have nothing but praise for every member of the team we have ever dealt with, either by phone or face to face .
Booked for next years visits already!

5* is not enough for this location. The lodge was perfect in every way. It was exactly as pictured, if not better. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The location is so peaceful, beautiful and tranquil. We loved every moment of our stay and wish we could rate it higher... it deserves it. The owners are on hand for anything you may need and go over and above what you would expect for a holiday.

Second visit as a family of four to this spectacular, immaculate lodge, with breathtaking views, brilliant location for visiting surrounding Northumberland areas. One of our favourite places in the UK. Thanks for an amazing time, creating such special family memories.

Yes, fishing in the lake is all year round, I think there are probably restrictions on the river. All fishing advice is freely available from their fishing expert, read the Fishing section on Redewater website to get his email address which I am not allowed to send you in this answer!
Hi Sue,
Thank you for your question.
We only accept dogs in our Ingram Lodge which is around 500m further along the river than the other three.
Hope this helps.
Emma
Hi Caroline, thank you for your inquiry. We do have availability from the 6th of October if you would like to give us a ring on 01434 270036 or email us off our website and we can give you a price for the 3 nights.
Hope this helps
