This place fully deserves all the five star reviews. Gorgeous tranquil and relaxing location, lots of wonderful wildlife around, beautiful lodges where they have thought of almost everything you could possibly need. The only thing that I think could be vastly improved is the toaster! It was very small, 2 slice, even bread from a standard loaf wouldn't fit. It made breakfast time a bit of a hassle - trying to cater for 4 adults with a 2 slice toaster wasn't fun. It might sound a bit picky, but it seems a strange oversight when the owners have thought of everything else, and one that could so easily be improved. Apart from that everything really is perfect.

If you like 5 star accommodation these lodges are for you. My Wife myself , my Sister and Brother in Law have visited the Lodges twice now, they are absolutely fantastic. Everything you would expect in a five star property and more. The fishing on the lake is in with the price and you can fish from your very own jetty. The area is perfect for exploring Northumberland and the border country. There is a pub about 10 minutes stroll away, selling good food and real ale if you like that. The Family who own the Lodges are very helpful and will help you with anything while your on your break here. We were here in December for my wife’s Birthday, the snow came down to ‘order’ it was so picturesque, and Julie recommended for us an excellent night out in Bellingham for a special Birthday at a nice Hotel. If you like tranquility in a great setting you will definitely not be disappointed.

This was our second visit to Redewater Lodges. We absolutely love it. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and guaranteed peace and quiet. Just the birds tweeting, and lots of owls hooting in the night. It’s also an amazing place to do a bit of stargazing if you get a clear night. The bedrooms have comfortable super king beds, and both with large en suites. The kitchen is equipped with literally everything you need. I cooked on quite a few occasions, and it was like home from home. The hot tub, sauna, and pool table are all excellent facilities, and a big shout out for Sky Sports! It’s the only accommodation I’ve been in that has had this. My husband and I are huge sports fans, so it was fabulous! Thanks to Kelly for excellent communication throughout. We hope to be back again very soon!

Stayed here for a week and from start to finish it was perfect. We were in the only lodge where dogs are allowed which is very secluded and peaceful by the river. Host Kelly left us a super welcome hamper and didn't bother us but was on hand 24/7 should we need anything. Lodge very clean, fitted out to high standard together with private hot tub, sauna, games room and Scandinavian style bbq hut. Harry the heron flew in most days to see us! Plenty of local country walks. 15 minute walk to tradional village pub with friendly locals, good crack and good pub food, including take aways. Had a few day trips visiting places including Hadrians Wall, splendid Corbridge and within easy reach of all of Northumberland, including coast, and County Durham. This was perfect for our needs and yes 'we will be back'.

Return visit and just as good as the first. Stunning lodges in a stunning location. Plenty of fish were caught, time spent walking, looking at the lambs, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna and just chilling. Worked out perfect to book two lodges for the family, to have our own space and then get together for meals and drinks and pool matches! Ages ranged from 14 to 80 with something for everybody. Many thanks also to Kelly for giving me Louise's contact details for the massages and facials, this just added to the whole relaxing spa feeling of the lodges and Louise was so lovely. As Arnie says - we will be back!

My sister and brother in law have been going for many years and this time we were lucky enough to join them. It exceeded our expectations. Not only was the lodge stunning and fully equipped for every need but the scenery was beautiful and sooo peaceful. It was just what we needed and can't recommend it enough

Fabulous! We stayed at Ingram as we have a dog. It is beautifully secluded right next to the River Rede. Thé accommodation is excellent with well equipped kitchen, welcome hamper and cosy furnishings. The BBQ hut is gorgeous, private sauna and hot tub. We were just disappointed not to have clear skies. If you like the north east, you must stay here.
