Me and the wife stopped off here on the way home from a day trip. I decided to have the pie of the day which was steak and ale and chips. The slice of pie was a decent size and the filling was fully loaded with the steak being big chunks. It came with gravy which was absolutely delicious and...

What a lovely place. We were warmly welcomed, had room 2 in the annex which was spacious with an enormous bed and really warm. For a dog friendly room you'd never know as the room was spotless. We had our two dogs with us who joined us in the bar for an evening meal and breakfast. Evening food was top...

We had a great lunch with family today at the Bentley Brook Inn. Spotted on a map as a place close to Ashbourne it was a bit of a guess that it would be suitable for all of us. The welcome was warm, the bar area and restaurant were cosy and clean and there was a roaring fire in the...

This is a pub we have visited many times over the years and is in a great location for accessing local attractions. We stayed here with our dog and were made to feel most welcome. Our only concern is managing our springer's spaniel's new expectation of sausages for breakfast. The bedroom was lovely and clean. The staff and locals were...

We were lucky enough to attend a private gourmet dining evening at the Bentley Brook. I am not an expert restaurant reviewer but we do seem to endlessly strive to find a restaurant that is not part of some celebrity chef chain where you expect to have top end cuisine but inevitably come away disappointed. You think you have found...

Thank you for taking the time to review the new Bentley Brook gourmet dining experience. This is something our chef has created, to be booked in advance only, for your own private party of up to 16 guests. Each menu can be tailor made with our chef, as was the meal you enjoyed recently. It is a chance for our...

Really good hotel , pleasantly comfortable and competitivly priced. Very friendly and helpful staff who were excellent with both us and our young spaniel. Ideal accommodation, excellent food and service , nice and well kept beer and a choice of several well priced wines . We would highly recommend the Bentley Brooke and will be revisiting again this year .

Thank you for taking the time to review the Bentley Brook. We are delighted your first holiday together with your lovely spaniel went so well. First time away can always be a little daunting but I am pleased everyone looked after all three of you. We look forward to welcoming you again sometime in the future. Wendy Livingstone
