For an age range of late 30's to 80, the 5 of us struggled to find anything to pick off the menu and all of us chose to have the cavery instead. That was ok. The lamb looked anemic and the veg very 'tired'. The service was good and price reasonable.

The third year we've eaten at this great hotel, staff efficient , friendly and very obliging in every area, the Boarshead is very well run and cleanliness is spot on! The Xmas day lunch was faultless 👍 brilliant service in a lovely relaxed atmosphere even though the restaurant was fully booked we were looked after exceedingly well!

My wife and I frequently go for the Sunday Carvery. As the food is excellent booking is essential, we also go for lunch with friends in midweek. Everyone who we have taken is impressed and cannot believe the quality for the low prices.

Had a small family lunch as we will not be able to get together for The Day. An excellent lunch with a very wide choice as you can have a carvery, use the regular menu or try something off the specials board. I went for a light bite - sirloin sandwich with beautiful fried onions and chips and salad. Light...
