Professional and kind couple met us at the entrance after midnight. We were weary from the ferry, and they made us feel at home and helped us settle in easily. Campsite is next to quiet creek and salmon hatchery, with a nature trail. Clean showers, hookups, water amid old-growth forest. Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

This is a beautiful setting for a campground and it's proximity to Port Hardy and nature trail make it a lovely setting for a family vacation. However, travelers should be wary - during our recent visit, I was shocked by the poor reception that we received from the new on-site caretakers. We were combatively confronted early in our stay followed... More

I can recommend strongly Quatse campground. very nice, quiet and in the middle of mother nature. Private sites, clean showers and toilets. In short distance of the ferry. We arrived late and it was pitch-dark. Some assistance is welcome if you want to park your RV.

This is a wonderful setting with huge trees and privacy. Washrooms are spotless and managers friendly. The setting is along a river in a Regional Park. A great and beautiful trail network will take you into town in 30 minutes. It follows the river and then along the harbour. This walk is well worth it. Enjoy.

My son and I camped here for a few nights in early July of 2016 and we were very impressed by the cleanliness, the beauty and free access to showers and firewood. Even though it was a rainy time there was lots to do in and around the park, there is an excellent hiking path that travels along the river... More

Nice camp site. Lovely (though particular) older couple that runs the site. The site itself is wooded, has a river, hatchery, nice showers, water access, and all the fixings needed for glamping. There's a ton of mosquitos though, and the site isn't particularly beautiful or inspiring. We used it as an overnight stop on our way to the North Coast... More

On our way around the west of the country. Stayed at Quatse waiting for the ferry to Prince Rupert. The campground meets what you would expect. It's nice, level and clean. Friendly staff. All in all a good campground for anyone passing through.

To be honest, we weren't expecting too much of this RV site but were delighted with it. Gloria and Gord were very good hosts and extremely hard working. The showers were, without doubt, the cleanest we used. The laundry was also spotless. The site has been newly acquired and there is obviously some work to be done but, given time,... More

Very clean facilities with a coin laundry and free hot showers. It's run by a very friendly couple that was accommodating and helpful. The sites are all calm and private and there is firewood by donation. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Port Hardy.

Been visiting this place for 20 years plus for our Salmon and Halibut fishing excursions. Camp host's always have been very helpful and keeping the Restrooms and grounds clean. Quiet, peaceful and close to Port Hardy. Family of ours have been staying at the Pioneer Inn within walking distance from the campground
