Enjoy the wildlife and jungle experience of the Amazon Region. See Monkeys, Sloths, Cayman, and a myriad of tropical birds. The villagers are friendly and resourceful. Handmade trinkets and other handicraft are readily available.

Spent 5 days 4 nights at this cozy lodge in the buffer zone of the reserve. Pacaya Samiria is an ecolodge. They employee the local people from the neighboring village. Very friendly staff , great cabanas. All our excursions were well planned. Our guide Rey was so knowledgeable!. I highly recommend it!

We found the staff to be wonderful and overall experience (including day tours and meals) to be fantastic. Plenty of birds, monkeys and pink dolphins nearby. Make sure you get out on a nighttime boatride for a sunset you will never forget. Note: there are many very large spiders at night given the raw, natural surroundings. Bug spray and light...

Our Amazon adventure was amazing with the perfect mixture of animals and elegance due to everyone at the Pacaya Samaria Amazon Lodge. Rey, our guide, is the King of the Jungle. We saw macaws, pink dolphins, an anaconda, a rainbow Boa, monkeys, lizards, huge spiders, and so many cool birds that I still cannot remember their names. Rogella sailed our...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge. I booked for 4 nights but we had flight delays and missed connections, so we ended up spending only 3 nights. I would say that's a minimum you should plan for if you are going all the way there to be able to enjoy what the place has to offer....
