As soon as we arrived we was made to feel like 1 of the family. The room was spotlessly clean, the garden is huge my children loved exploring and breakfast was delicious. We didn't want to leave can't wait to stay again in the future.

Very welcoming when we arrived!
Food was excellent, pleasantly served and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely home-made bread and delicious kippers (my wife thought they were the best she had ever eaten!). Room was lovely, warm and bright and very comfortable with good amenities.
Beautiful garden and plenty of parking space. For us visiting Wiltshire for the first time it was an excellent choice. Breakfast is served at a time to suit (within reason!) but great when all guest are together and Derick or Carol join in the conversation. All in all we were absolutely delighted with our choice. It was reasonably priced and extremely comfortable in every way. Couldn't recommend it enough!!!

Lovely place with friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable room with nice en suite with good facilities. Sadly we were staying for a sad reason, attending funeral nearby. Carol let us stay in the lounge in the morning until time to go there which was very kind. We certainly intend to return in more pleasant circumstances and visit local places of interest.

A wonderful experience with Carol and Derek, the owners, who went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Great attention to detail, with the cleanest of rooms and a most excellent breakfast. A very kind couple who care about people.
A perfect location to start off our trip up the Cotswold's, in this charming antique home.
Thank you again,
Jane & Tim

When we arrived we were given really warm welcome and made to feel at home. Our rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and spacious. We had tea and coffee facilities and kit kats- much to the kids delight! There is a guest lounge for relaxing in and plenty of local information. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Cereals, fresh fruit, homemade museli and jam that were particularly tasty. We also had a full English breakfast and many cups of tea/coffee. We found the owners very friendly and helpful and we would thoroughly recommend this as a bed and breakfast to be visited.

We stayed at Newhouse Farm for the weekend so that we could visit the Christmas market at Bath. The room was large and comfortable with everything we needed. This was good value accommodation in the heart of the countryside.

Breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the day, Carol and Derek made sure we had our breakfast in good time to get the train into Bath. They were also on hand with advice as to where to eat in the evening.

Newhouse Farm is a comfortable guest housewith all the usual amenities you would expect. We booked as we were visiting Bath and the location is far cheaper than the hotels or guest house on offer in bath and is around a 20/30 minutes drive from Bath. The welcome was warm and very friendly, the breakfast was tasty and eaten around a large table with the other guests so was very sociable, if you want intimate breakfast this is not the venue for you.

Response from Derek B, Owner at Newhouse Farm B&B
Responded 8 Aug 2017
Thank you for your comments. Newhouse Farm is a very popular base for visiting Bath, West Wiltshire and the surrounding area. We endeavour to meet all our guests' needs, and if asked, we can provide a separate eating area in our guest lounge for those who do not wish to share the dining table with other guests. The vast majority of our guests, of all nationalities, are happy to chat over breakfast and exchange experiences.

Stayed one night here, room spacious clean throughout. Quiet rural atmosphere, yet handy to Bath by train (30 mins by car) and certainly beats the traffic and parking hassles getting into the city centre. Breakfast was plenty - and lots of it home made. The owners are easy going, obliging and respect guests privacy.

Stayed here for a long weekend away with my girlfriend. Our room was spacious and clean and had it's own door to the outside. There is plenty of free parking and a guest lounge where you can find plenty of local information.

The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, toast, home made jams and cereal alongside a traditional English cooked breakfast. We had dinner at a couple of local pubs; The Bell Inn and the Somerset arms which were both very good. The owners are very friendly and helpful if you need any information about the local area.
