We come here quite often and always find the food and service very good. quite a large menu so sometimes difficult to know what to have, but that's not a complaint! good high end pub food and good value. worth a visit for sure

Gorgeous food in a cosy relaxed setting. Beef and Spinach curry was delicious. Kids menu was varied and generous portions. Cheesecake dessert was scrumptious!! Fabulous selection of wines. Great night out had by all.

Dined with friends here tonight, food was excellent as was service and general atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Barmaid/waitress was exceptional with a great sense of humour. Would thoroughly recommend spending an evening here.

We stayed in cottage 2 whilst visiting nearby relatives. The cottage was very comfortable for 3 adults and our dog. Plenty of space and having a kitchen made this place a far better option for us than a hotel. The only thing we found awkward was any guests using the sofa-bed have to go upstairs and walk through the bedroom...

We only stayed here for a long weekend, but this was perfect for us. We have friends in the area and would definitely come back to stay here again. The cottage was very well decorated and laid out and small things were thought about, like providing washing up liquid and cloths. The bed was comfy, shower was spacious and open...

This used to be a fantastic buzzing pub, always busy with consistently great food and service. Oh dear, what has happened? I arrived at 12.30 the pub for lunch, the pub was virtually empty but from the moment I entered the pub I was made aware continuously of a large party they were expecting for lunch, the friend I was...

Many thanks for taking the time to write your comments Customer Service sometimes means we have to give disappointing news to customers. After many years in the trade we have worked out how many people we can serve, to our standards, in a given amount of time. We allocate our tables accordingly and take bookings to try to give the...

Great accommodation , really modern take on a lovely old building . Being from the building trade I can appreciate the work that's gone into it . Self contained , self catering accommodation of a very high standard with the option of breakfast delivered to your door . Very clean but my only criticism would be the double bed upstairs...

Another relaxing stay at The Lamb onThe Strand. The was our second stay, so we have now stayed in cottage 1and 2. Both are delightful and homely. We are looking forward to returning. Thank you and see you again soon!

Wonderful twee cottage. Perfect for our overnight stay on the way to Bath. Next time we would probably want to stay longer to explore the surrounding towns including Bradford on Avon and Chippenham. Cosy and comfortable and handy to have a pub restaurant on the doorstep!!

Our family had to travel a long distance for a funeral and this place is very close to West Wiltshire Crematorium. Clean and comfortable, with a very good walk-in shower. A single toilet means you have to plan who sleeps where, but we didn't see that as a problem. The kitchen was very well provided for our self-catering needs. It...
