Quirky room. Very clean and tidy. Friendly owner. Wife runs taverna in village which again is very clean and offers a good range of food. Shower basic and took a while for hot water to appear but adequate for an overnight stop. Would stay here again for a visit to the plateau

Yes, this place pretty much has the monopoly in Lassithi Plateau, as far as having acceptable rooms in one of the more interesting villages. Our issue is with the owner/manager. We were shown a number of rooms as the place was empty. After we chose one we realized that the beds were too narrow for me so I went downstairs... More

We arrived in Agios Georgios on a cold wet April evening and walked into the hotel Rea on the main street. Maria greeted us (lots of smiles and a little English) and directed us to the sister establishment, Maria's rooms, around the corner.
