Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visit Cider House regularly as guests in the B&B. It was a treat to come back to such a beautiful place which is now self-catering accommodation: coming to stay somewhere so idyllic and peaceful is thoroughly recommended as a perfect escape. Cider House is set in the loveliest countryside and watching wildlife from the breakfast table was a wonderful start to our day. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms luxurious and we loved tucking up in the snug of an evening. We will look forward to coming back again.

A truly wonderful property set within beautiful gardens. We had a fantastic week with friends made very easy by the fantastic organisation of Bryony and Bertie. The property is exceptionally luxurious and a great place to enjoy both day and night. Highly recommended!

We are regular visitors to Cider House: it is our favourite escape. Bryony and Bertie are wonderful hosts who have created the most relaxing 'away from it all' environment with beautiful rooms, excellent food and peace and quiet in a glorious setting.

Our 4th stay at this idyllic place. Bryony and Bertie are wonderful hosts. The entire property is immaculate. Breakfast is of a very high standard using local produce and home made jams etc. They provide lovely extra touches such as tea and cake on arrival and in the evenings leave out port, sloe gin plus beverages for guests to enjoy. We will definitely visit again.

he Cider House is a wonderful B & B! The rooms are fantastically decorated, and equipped with very good beds. Everything fits in every detail. The view from the window is amazing, pheasants and sheep graze in front of it. The hosts are super friendly and always eager, the guests are missing anything! The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of top quality local produce! I really only recommend this B & B!

Our one night stay was a highlight of this year's Cornwall and Devon tour. Highly recommended upfront by a colleague of mine our expectation regarding this super B&B were outperformed signicantly. Welcome already started with a reply email after booking for further arrangements. And from arrival to departure our superb hosts Bryony and Bertie made our stay a great experience. Thanks you ever so much for your hospitality and hope to come back soon Marc

My husband and I recently had a very happy three night stay at the Cider House Set in the most stunning countryside, the house is so pretty, and very stylishly and comfortably furnished, with high standards throughout. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, with the most comfortable of beds. Our hosts were just fabulous, very friendly, and with a great sense of humour, nothing is to much trouble for them. This B & B is just perfect, certainly a true 5 Star establishment. We so look forward to a return visit very soon.
