We stayed here once before in 2014, and will continue stay here whenever we pass through on our way to the East Coast. The property has made improvements to some rooms since our last stay. The renovated rooms are called 'Superior' and the owner will most likely be renovating the remaining rooms in the next year or so. All the...

For the last few years we have made Auberge Marie Blanc a must stay on our way to the Maritimes. The motel rooms overlook Lac Temiscouata. The bike path is at our door. And then there are the meals. Dinner is served in the inn and comprises local ingredients, including cheeses from the local award-winning cheese makers. The breakfast is...

This was our second visit. We loved it both times. Service was excellent, food absolutely without equal. Prices are high, but worth it. Staff will make an effort to speak in English for Anglophone clients, but French is obviously their first language.

Was referred to this motel by another inn owner who was fully booked in the area. I made my arrangements with Martine, who was very helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have a beautiful view out onto Lac Temiscouata. There are chairs and picnic tables on the shore if you want to sit and look out at the water....

Lovely location right on the lake with a bike track to go for a walk - great after a long day travelling. Clean and tidy, not very big but fine for two of us. Fridge in the room, a sofa, small tv and a huge picture window looking to the lake. Martine who runs the auberge with her sister was...

It's been ten years since my husband and I visited this delightful spot but I looked it up because we always advise friends to visit it if they're anywhere nearby. Now our niece and husband are planning a trip so I'm sending them there. They always look for extraordinary restaurants when they travel, much of the time in France. So...

Stayed at Auberge Doce Vita that has a reciprocal agreement with Marie Blanc to have guests dine at each others restaurants so the cooks don't burn out. First off, being an anglophone with basic French can be tough in parts of Quebec. The staff was patient with us and the owner speaks very good English. Small, intimate dining room with...

We did not stay at the inn but ate at the restaurant located on the premises. Our meal was a four-course table d'hôte prepared from local produce. Words cannot describe the excellence and perfection of the dishes. Of particular heights were two desserts made with maple syrup, one a crème brulée and the other a home-made sweet maple ice cream....

While travelling east to the maritimes, we reserved our first stop in Québec's Notre-Dame-du-Lac village at the Auberge Marie Blanc. I had previously discovered the inn more than ten years ago, quite by accident, but was more than delighted with my experience then. During our 2011 visit, we stayed at the inn's motel-style accommodations which afford magnificient views of the...
