Booked for 4 nights beginning of April. Owing to family commitment, this is the 3rd stay in as many months. During the two previous stays the hotel was having a problem with the heating resulting in having to have an electric fan heater in the room! Decided this time we would go for the Superiour Room which promised a larger room, coffee pod machine, hairdryer etc. All I can say is don't bother ! All we got for an extra 40 plus pound a night was a coffee machine & a shelf with a hole in where the hairdryer should have been ! Very disappointed & will not be staying there again !
We ended having to stay in Bristol for a 5th night but decided to check out & try another hotel !

Standard Room has very firm beds, bring your own pillow as the pillows provided may not suit your sleeping posture, bring ear buds to reduce the sound from the doors, air conditioning and outside traffic, if you need to recycle food waste you need to do it yourself as food waste recycling is not provided, the receptionists are not uniform in performance yet are helpful. Being a budget hotel I didn't have high expectations. However, this was an exceptionally clean establishment. The staff were friendly and very helpful, answering any questions I had. I ate at the onsite restaurant and the food was delicious, well prepared, fresh and the cutlery etc was clean. My food arrived quickly and the server was helpful. The first night I didn't sleep well, partly due to the constant traffic noise outside. The second night, however it was better and I slept soundly. The bed was very comfortable with freshly laundered sheets and duvet. Fresh towels were available. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was wonderful. I stayed in an accessible room and it was spacious. I liked that the bathroom was a wet room. Overall a good trip.

we paid extra for the deluxe room however the toilet and hairdryer did not work, after the first nights stay we raised this with somebody at the front desk after waiting for over an hour for someone to appear to even be at the front desk. We were told it would be fixed by the second night stay however when we arrived back it was not fixed and there was no one at the front desk again. We had to use cups to flush the loo or use the main hotel toilets two floors down. When we asked after our stay what could be done we were told we could NOT get a refund but credit to stay at another travelodge which we repeated we would NEVER use a travelodge again. No one in customer service have responded to my refund request after phonecalls and emails. Absolutely appalled and will never stay in a travelodge again.

Stayed at the filton travelodge for just one night but it was a good stay. The room was clean and well presented and the staff were nice and friendly. I was given a room on the 2nd floor which was quiet and wasn't disturbed much by any external or internal noise.

We paid for the superior room. Unfortunately this is not the case don’t waste your money….
The bathroom when we arrived smelt strongly of urine so we had to then be moved rooms! Nothing superior about the room you get a coffee machine, hair dryer and iron all of which you can ask for from reception as well so what’s the point. Shower was pretty bad we had limescale in the shower head so it didn’t work properly. Shower curtain was a shade of pink and brown pretty gross. They don’t cater to food allergies either so you’ll need to drive to the Venue to eat dinner. Breakfast was extremely poor food was cold and well I mean very well over cooked! If you like the dive affect stay here if not I’d suggest save your money and book the village hotel up the road!

Arrived here Sunday afternoon. They must have been busy as no one at reception. Waited, waiting, and out pops a guy in a suit. No, hello, how are you can I help.

Booked in up to the room, very tidy. All new, clean room. Nice view of A38. But I'm there to sleep, so no problem.
Location is spot on for my 3 day stay.

Went to get food, a plate of chips and slice of bread n butter, sorry we don't do bread, it's in the freezer for the morning, I ask if you could defrost 1 in the microwave, No, it's out in morning for breakfast.
Next day, could I have tikka masala, No, we don't have any. OK, subway it is. Next day, yay, tikka masala with micro bombed onion bhaji.
Breakfast is there, slight cold, edible crispy bacon, sausage, hash, beans, tomatoes, egg.
Toast to, defrosted, and coffee, tea.

Not the best experience at all. Definitely not book again. Recommend colleagues to try elsewhere.

Nice place to stay but a bit out of town if you don’t have transport.
Room was spotless and tidy but a tad traffic noisy as mine was on the Gloucester Road side.

Breakfast was really good and Caroline from the kitchen made guests feel very welcome.

The room was cozy and clean, although the AC in my room wasn't working , I was however offered another room which I didn't take because I noticed on the last day of my stay. We had good reception service although the breakfast had a little bit of issues (the juice machine wasn't working). But in all the hotel has a good ambience and it is quite close to places where there are major activities in Bristol.
